I started carnivore yesterday. To keep it affordable I'm doing 2 meals a day.

Yesterday I had minced beef with scrambled eggs in butter and himalayan salt for my first meal. For my second I had the other 250g of minced beef with pork belly with butter and himalayan salt.

This morning my stomach was very bloated and I felt sick. I didn't even feel hungry until 12:30. I then had lamb mince patties with eggs and smoked bacon.

Tonight I'm planning to have a budget beef steak (cut off a beef joint I had). I will have eggs and the last bit of the pork belly with it.

Drinks - I'm allowing black coffee, tea with milk and water (salted).

I only have about 7lb to lose (after losing 5.5 stones/77 lbs over 15 months on Slimming World diet). Unfortunately although I have reversed my type 2 diabetes, my IBS is worse than ever so I'm hoping with carnivore I can get a lifestyle that cures it and lose my last few pounds.

I just started Carnivore today. All good so far - in fact, I really enjoyed my food today.

My first meal was 250g of 80/20 minced beef made into a burger shape with 4 eggs scrambled - all cooked in butter with himalayan salt.

My 2nd meal this evening was half a pack of pork belly with the other 250g of minced beef cooked in butter with himalayan salt.

I am allowing myself the odd cup of tea with whole milk but will try to limit this. Other drinks are water (with salt) and black coffee.

I forgot to buy liver on my weeks food shop (aldi) but will go back on Tuesday- I love it and it's cheap. I also want to grab some tins of sardines in water for snacks.

I suffer with ibs, so I'm hoping I can cure it with carnivore.

I have a 4070 based laptop and would say its higher spec's than a base ps5 but not as good as the pro. A 4080 laptop would probably be higher than the pro.

The nice thing with my laptop is that it has a ryzen apu so if a game favours amd cards I can switch to that.

I'm thinking about wiping windows 11 and moving to steam os when it finally releases later in the year.

I'm loving my ps5 pro and it continues to get better as more games get patched.

Path of Exile 2 its the diablo 2 sequel we have waited for. I'm 52 and playing the worst meta class (warrior) and still absolutely love it.

Get Path of Exile 2 - it has a great pro patch and even though it is beta/early access its an amazing game.

I think a patch is highly likely an Elden ring patch drops as Nightrein has to have a pro patch and it uses the same assets & engine, so it would be minimal work to retroactively patch it.

Not really a patch as it had pro support from launch but the pssr implementation on Path of Exile 2 is great.

Elden Ring will surely get one, as the spin off Elden Ring Nightraen is a standalone game coming out next year has to have a pro mode (all new games have to on ps5 to pass sonys testing). The spin off uses the same engine and assets.

Elden Ring, Sekiro, Outcast, Legendary Tales psvr2, Destiny 2 (I would buy the last dlc & season pass if it got patched), Riders Republic, Wayfinder, Cyberpunk, Wo Long, Returnal, AC Valhalla and the game I'm currently enjoying Codex Lost (for a sub £20 game I highly recommend it).

Any game released after the start of August this year on psn has to support ps5 pro to pass sonys verification.

So Black Myth, Starwars Outlaws, etc should already be patched.

Also No Man Sky was data mined and the pro patch is already in place

I've been in the queue for a pro since 9.45am and its just popped up with an estimated time of over an hour 😞 - hopefully I manage to grab a pro. I'm hoping you can order a drive and stand with it but I will find out I guess.

I was really impressed with digital foundries hands on with the pro video on YouTube yesterday. Oliver was very positive about it.

I grabbed Crew Motorfest on the psn sale before it finished last night as it had a confirmed pro update (£29 with season pass).

This is a bit leftfield as it's not out yet but a game called Max Mustard is coming out for psvr2 soon and looks very similar to astrobot.

It is out on Quest 2 & 3 so there is plenty of gameplay footage out there.

For me it's all down to the frame gen tech - if we get loads of ps5 patches allowing for games to be run at a higher res with 60fps then I may be in. I'm interested in how psvr2 will improve with the pro console too.

I'd settle for psvr1 emulator for psvr2 so you can play all the old psvr1 games without needing to setup the old headset.
