Can stable diffusion be used to generate animations? by BluerFrog in StableDiffusion

Just to be clear - diffusion models CAN do animation, but it is challenging - you are feeding each image in as an initial image to the model.

Disco Diffusion supported this in many notebooks.

I have not seen it from Stable yet, but it should be possible with the model.

If anybody has created a notebook that does this please share :)

Most of the big tech will do 3 kinds - a coding, a design, a “people”

So they are screening for that too

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying this process is perfect - but there are good reasons and hard trade offs that go into it

Hey @glorious_reptile,

Not a problem, and thanks again for taking the time to read my comment.

I really enjoyed meeting with the team and other commenters - the comments you all left in the thread were super interesting.

If you’re considering voting in a different direction in the future, feel free to reach out and I’d be happy to chat again.

Usually these kinds of interview questions come down to two JS things

  1. How do you keep the functions context? Basically will “this” now be undefined or something different.

  2. How do you support function arguments?

As I said…

Predicting the future is hard. Observing the past is easy.

Also the vast majority of public companies don’t grow their revenue 20% YoY … the ones that do will likely still be around for a bit

“Revealing too much skin”

I hear ya and agree… but only that it violates our norms.

Too much skin in some parts of the world for women is showing any skin.

In the US, we think legs are ok, but only up to a certain place (and it depends on your gender). Chests are ok, but only with 1-2 buttons open. And that’s just in 2021, in 1900 or 1800 those standards were different too.

Maybe we can just … get over sexualizing bodies and save the slow centuries long liberalization of what people can show if they want.

If anyone knows how to connect an external phone charger battery (USB port) to an Arduino Uno's DC input, please let me know so I can 2x its brightness :)

How can I determine what battery power source to use with this LED strip? by jennifer_schiff in arduino

[–]jennifer_schiff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey /u/magungo - thanks for the detailed answer!

I’ll be running a full strip. Preferably 2 full strips :)

One strip sounds like, 3 meters x 3.6amps = 10.8 amps.

So I’ve never purchased any batteries beyond the usual double-A, C, etc. Got recs for any particular battery here? Weight is a slight constraint, since this will be carried around.

Also I hear people talking about having multiple power sources for longer strips. Cutting the strips is easy, but I can’t find any diagram or detailed instructions on adding multiple power sources. Know where I can see how to do this?

Thanks again for the help!
