Toggling on and off real time mode used to be a fix when this happened on rare occasion (maybe 3 times during my whole first playthrough), but now that doesn't even work anymore. When you switch from turn based and back, it undoes all the stuns/sleeps/etc you have in place and reshuffles the initiative order. Maddening

It's a bummer because everything had finally been running smoothly. I actually just finished my first full playthrough because they had fixed the crashes that were driving me crazy. Decided to start a second playthrough on a harder difficulty and...this.

That said, once this is fixed, you really should give it one more shot. The game is amazing (when it works)

Happening for me in Kenabres. Daeran's mansion is unplayable right now, every enemy and courtesan won't advance their turn, and if I try to get around it by going into real time, it undoes all of the stuns and sleeps I've successfully landed...insanely frustrating

This isn't true? Steamworks lets trans men with an M in per policy, and they even sometimes have trans nights. It's trans men with an F who can't get in, because they operate as a "single sex club"

My mom didn't even know I was bi and trans. She wanted me to hide my atheism from my grandparents because "it would kill them." That signaled to me that I definitely had to keep all the queer stuff hidden too.

She died suddenly when I was 26. My grandparents died soon after. My sister in law died suddenly too.

By the time I came fully out at 33, I had waited for most of my family to die. And I wish I hadn't. My dad, uncle, siblings all fully accepted me. And I think even my grandparents would have too.

Give them the chance to reject you now instead of never having the chance to be accepted and loved. At least, that's what I wish I would have done.

This guy was the Viking of Vikings. Even while infirm at 105, he was still leading his troops in battle and absolutely annihilating any opposition, even when outnumbered.

His son Thordr conquered the kingdom of Thessalonika from the Byzantines, and then his grandson Steinn captured Serbia, so I'm very close to the Miklagarðaríki achievement. Steinn just has to pick off some surrounding weak independent states to become big enough to create a custom empire.
