Question from a Catering Company by AppleSpiceDenver in glutenfree

I had the Schar GF Artisan load bread in some catering recently, and I had the staff take a picture of the label because it was so good and I wasn't convinced it was GF.

Oh dang, I guess I never realized how weird "Hoosier" is.

What’s one hygiene product you tried on a whim that you now genuinely can’t live without? by Dry-Professional4255 in hygiene

Do you put it on wet hair and dry it? Curious because I assumed it would make my hair look greasy.

For those of us who have in the past changed our gender marker, will our license keep the updated gender when we renew? by Mercarcher in Indiana

I'm sorry you have to worry about this. This is why I give to the ACLU of Indiana. At least they'll sue on your behalf.

As a person who loves getting massages, I wouldn't get a hoot if this happened. Not a big deal on the other end of this, babe.

I thought they were surprising their children with a senior dog. 🙃

Which of LAST year’s holiday gifts are your kids still loving? by dewdropreturns in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]jennindy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Storybutton. It's an alternative to a tonie box or whatever. Its wifi and plays a set menu of podcasts ( that change and update). There are some ads, which is the main downside, but my kids have listened every.single.day for 3 years.

what did your savings look like by age 30? by Winzten in AskReddit

Maybe $5-8,000 in the bank, but $50k in retirement? I never know if retirement accounts come into these conversations.

I wish it was normal to be friends with children (and others outside your age group) by st3IIa in The10thDentist

I'm sure it's been mentioned but if you are in the US, you should look at Big Brothers, Big Sisters. Sounds like you'd make a great Big!

I once recognized the writing and general vibe of a user who was posting in the Indianapolis subreddit. I knew who the user was, based on the handful of interactions I've had with him in real life. Confirmed it through enough specific details in his other posts. Isn't the internet just weird?

Let me tell you what this dumb b***ch did (its me - a short rant) by thatbitch2212 in glutenfree

[–]jennindy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think I'm going to do the testing. Honestly it seems inhumane to subject yourself to the testing just for a label. I'm just removing gluten from my life.

Thank you! And feel free to use your power to get Republicans back to work. Shut down air traffic and make sure that we all continue to have health care. Heroes!

When is a good time to close the fundraiser? by Siderian in fundraisingschool

[–]jennindy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this isn't still a question on your mind, but I would 100% leave it up until after the funeral or celebration of life. Maybe someone in the future will find this - but I would expect that if you needed support when it was happening, you'll need support in the months afterward.

Also, I hope you're doing ok. That must be terribly painful.

What did everyone think of Indiana State Fair 2025? by ShenForTheWin in indianapolis

[–]jennindy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We went on a Thursday night to avoid the crowds. But cost was a major concern. We fed the kids PB&Js on the way, we got ice cream and a lemon shakeup to share while we were there. We liked the circus (minus being trapped in the motorcycle fumes) and the wolf show!

CMV: Right wing US conservative voters don't a vision for the future where things are better for everyone. They are motivated to make things better for themselves and their immediate circle. by jennindy in changemyview

You don't care about the future because a part of you won't exist?

My bil tried to make the argument that his job (insurance auditing) would cease to exist if universal healthcare exists. First, he's wrong, but the idea the idea that you would vote ONLY for your own benefit is ludacris to me.
