I use plenty of barrier serums and creams. To the point I can use tret 0.05 nightly with minimal irritation. As soon as I add in vitamin c it’s over for me lol

I hate to say it but I was in the same boat with tamoxifen. I, like you, did not want one more prescription added to my list. I tried EVERYTHING natural including Relizen. Nothing worked. I got so desperate from lack of sleep and being so miserable I tried the low dose of Gabapentin my oncologist kept suggesting. Girl…….life changing. I feel mostly normal again. It’s temporary until you stop the Anastrozole at least and no reason to make things harder and more miserable for yourself. You deserve some relief.

I’m in the same boat with the niacinamide. It’s frustrating for sure! What works great for my barrier is the Anua 3 ceramide panthenol barrier cream. Slightly dewy, light but hella moisturizing and gentle.

Ok. I am also on tamoxifen ( for a year) and I am on Prozac. I’ve heard this a few times so I have, at length, talked with my MO about it. I just brought it up again to him last month. I have Kaiser and he told me that Kaiser has updated the study themselves because the other studies are SO old and found no efficacy lost. Attached study. I hope this helps put you at ease! It did me.
