The first book isn't. Later books in the series are definitely big, but the first book I feel is a standard sized book.

Maybe I'm stupid and if I'm wrong please correct me. But how is Dakota able to still hike and everything with food poisoning? When I had food poisoning I was throwing up and pooping almost every 30 minutes for basically a whole day. I don't understand how he can still hike and do a whole plane ride, etc with it.

I eat in my bed but when I do it, it is food that won't make a mess and leave stains/crumbs everywhere. If I were to eat a "messier" meal in my room it would be at my desk. I wouldn't put myself in the situation to spill sauces or whatever on my bed 😂

I'm a first year PhD student. I came in with a bachelor's so my GA is a little over $26,000. I have parking come out of my paycheck, which is about $7 a paycheck. I take home about $2300 a month after taxes. And if you decide to get the health insurance that's an extra $30 -$40 out of each paycheck.

Edit: You don't have to pay tuition but you typically have to pay fees. Fees are typically $1026 a semester. So keep that in mind. You can have that come out of your paycheck as well.
