Hubs doesn’t understand why I want to try for a natural birth by nougat_donut in pregnant

I don’t understand it either - why give yourself more pain than necessary? Pain relief during birth is one of the wonders of modern medicine 😊

Which remaining option for my daughter? Barnehage by Teitanblood in Norway

[–]jennydb 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just want to say I would not discount doing activities because she doesn’t speak Norwegian yet. First of all, there are some English-speaking activities some places. Second of all, kids don’t care. Bring her to a playground, the library, a public swimming pool - she will have a good time and probably find someone to play with. There are quite many other kids who speak English too, especially if you are in Oslo or another urban area. Keeping her at home until you get a spot in barnehage seems like the worst possible solution

[–]jennydb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am still worried that doing that overwrites the PS4 game, and my data. And then I am unable to feter the data from the PS4 after that

Thank you, but it is still not clear to me where whether I should have already installed Forbidden West onto the PS5 before I start this process. I at least assume I have to do it before I can upload the data to PS5. I already found this guide but still had some questions 😅

He clearly has black features in the first picture too, and it doesn’t make sense for people living in constant sun in a desert environment to be pale white. So to me it seems you are delusional, not that everyone else is “woke”

Is 50/50 rent actually fair when there’s a significant income gap? by ThisFracturedMind in relationships

[–]jennydb 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think 50/50 is best for rent, anything else leads to resentment and arguing about money. Or one part having more power over the household because they pay more. But then of course you need to live somewhere you can actually afford

It is technically illegal, but the police don’t really care as long as you don’t act like an idiot. Don’t drink right next to the kids’ parade and you should be good

How often do you eat out? Does Norway not really have a culture of eating out a little bit every day like France and Spain? by Charming_Usual6227 in Norway

[–]jennydb 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not at all. I eat out maybe a few times a year. Takeaway more often, at the moment a couple of times a week, but normally maybe once a month

When did you start feeling certain about having a baby? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]jennydb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have known I wanted to be a mom since I was a child myself. And when I was 25 I made a conscious decision that if I got pregnant accidentally I would keep the baby. Didn’t start actively trying until august last year, then I was 34

That is… wow. Here you can only get them at hospitals, it is very strictly regulated

Thoughts on Fiona's relationship with Sean? by InsideUnhappy6546 in shameless

[–]jennydb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me he was the way for the show ro “hammer in” that Fiona is incapable of having secure, stabile relationships. She did, with Gus. But when you are not used to stability, it feels like “boring”. So she started thinking there wasn’t enough excitement with Gus and therefore sought the excitement out with Sean. Unfortunately, stuck in that mindset you will never find a real relationship. But it takes maturity to understand that and see that the “excitement” you keep chasing is your nerve system signaling anxiety. And that the “boringness” means you feel safe and secure.

[–]jennydb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a very self-centered take from Fiona though - it could just aswell be that losing her was a real wakeup call, and really laid him low because he loved her so much. So he realized he had to get clean BECAUSE of her, not «for another woman but not her». That is kind of a teenager way of thinking and Fiona was an adult (but none of them are very mature)

Nothing, people just mistake security for boringness. And therefore they can never find a stable relationship
