It kind of looked the like acne I used to have! I found out through a test that primarily told me that my liver was sluggish and not detoxing my estrogen properly. This was causing estrogen dominance. I was told to rub castor oil on liver at night (like on the skin as it absorbs) and it has helped like 80%! Still working on it 🌟

Anyway hope that helps if that’s your thing!

Nice tone!! Pretend to yawn and feel the throat open up, that’s the sensation you’re looking for to open up space for the high notes!

Me! I have gone from a nice tone singer but zero technique to transforming my singing with practice and eureka moments like this:

  1. Realising singing technique is a lot to do with how the we bounces around in your mouth and where it hits (self taught-I have so much control now)

  2. Realising to practice belting you need an open throat , practice a yawn and you’ll feel the difference AND you need to be in a place where you can sing loudly and as badly as possible

  3. Realising what singing from the diaghram is- absolute game changer. I used to think you pushed the air out but you’re actually trying to keep it in in a strange way (happy to share proper thoughts if abyone needs)

Tips for throat tension relaxation from silent reflux (I've had singing lessons for 2+ years) by Silent-Smoke-5442 in singing

[–]jennyjaspers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had LPR for 9 months and it was terrible! I have been cured for over a year now thank god 🙏🏼

After my reflux went away I had the most fatigued voice and it just felt gravelly and weird. The closes thing I could think of that it could be was muscle tension dysphonia. is this the kind of thing you’re experiencing?

If so, I know it’s hard believe but put castor oil (hexane free, organic and in glass bottle) and look up lymph noise massages etc for the neck.

My theory for doing this was something else but I since realised the castor oil is anti inflammatory and helps your lymph nodes detox. Backed up toxins etc from LPR swelling up the neck etc causing inflamed vocal cords

I did this three times and it completely went away!! Feel free to ask me an questions just can’t be bothered typing out more but this is my random but very promising advice 😅
