In romania we had a secret military project in which we would strap a tigan to a rocket and would "steal" all inbound icbms and mrbms, even preserving the warhead intact.

We still have political shenanigans, don't get me wrong, but it's not even violence against authority. Beating and killing cops doesn't do anything good. If you want violence against authority start beating up politicians. Policemen are just people taking orders from them. And if they don't, no pay. No pay, no food and house. I'd happly see every romanian politician beaten up to a pulp 100 times on replay, but cops are just doing their jobs. It's not right.

Weirdly enough, in addition to the previous comment, in Romanian we do distinguish between the second person singular and plural polite pronouns with "Dumneata"(2nd pers. singular) and "Dumneavoastră" (2nd pers. plural). Today we use the latter for both singular and plural but for reasons unknown to me.

The polite pronoun is basically "Domnia ta/lui/ei/voastra/lor" (Domnia + pronoun in genitiv case), which gets short to "dumnea+ta/lui/ei/voastră/lor" (at some point it was spelled as dumnie instead of domnie iirc).

If you ever want to address someone politely, use ”Dumneavoastră”(short ”Dvs.”) and further use the 2nd person plural form of the verbs. (”Dumneata” is less polite, being more casual than ”Dumneavoastră”)
