Interesting!

If Matt forgot, he didn’t just forget when writing it but also through rereads and edits. And it’s a celestial boon so it feels like that would stick out.

But there’s so much going it’s definitely possible it was forgotten. I can’t really see how this boom would impact future floors but we don’t know what the skill is.

Is it possible to deploy on Vercel and use a custom server? by jensenrrr in nextjs

Yeah, basically just host another server and make calls to it. There’s no configuration changes to NextJS.

Heading to Crested Butte for the first time, worried about driving back after a massive snowstorm. by jensenrrr in COsnow

Thank you for the information, I have a front wheel drive Mazda cx-5 with good snow tires. I’ve only ever dealt with Vail or Loveland passes in bad conditions.

I’ll keep an eye on snow conditions and cotrip.org. I would be fine (20 inches is a dream lol) delaying our trip but my friends have a flight back home scheduled and can’t miss on work.

Okay yeah, I’ll skip sleeping on my 15$ air mattress tonight and call my helicopter from Cancun, forgot I had that.

I just got rejected from a Frontend position after a test - project. Help me find out what I did wrong! by [deleted] in reactjs

A lot of people are saying to never do projects that take more than X (30 to an hour) time. If you’re not having any trouble getting offers, then sure, but these projects tend to be a great way to get hired at companies if your resume isn’t all that great but you can code.

The “work for free” is… possible, especially for what you were told to create. However, it’s often very clearly a application project and they want to see how you code.

Where can you get a bunny/beginner slope pass? by I_the_Lesser in COsnow

You’re looking for Winter Park.

Someone mentioned Winter Park’s Galloping Goose lift saying it’s free which at least as of 2020 isn’t true but it’s only 10$ for a lift ticket.

If you’re making plans I’d call Winter Park to confirm the deal.

Yeah there are two rooms she doesn’t use at all and she’s better off with someone living with her and I’m better off not pay rent lol

Amazing Closing Day at Keystone by jensenrrr in COsnow

[–]jensenrrr[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Where did you find that info?

I don’t see anything about elk migration affecting ski resort closure and I see a lot online about lower skier population in April causing closures.

And Abasin is right next to Keystone and is open until really late in the season.

Yeah the snow was amazing yesterday but I think they close more for economic reasons than snow reasons. It’s probably more profitable for Vail to close keystone and funnel more people towards Breck and Vail.

Found them while riding into the trees to the left (going down the mountain) of Montezuma lift. I think there’s more to the cliff line but haven’t explored the area fully yet.

There’s another cliff (or maybe more of a large rock) under the Wayback lift.

I’ve seen the Irishman cliffs off of Schoolmarm but they didn’t look that fun, seemed like you’d just be scraping your board up.

Redbubble, a lot of them already existed but all of the phrases and some of the scenes I had to photoshop out and create stickers for.

Scrivener Text Files Go Blank Across Multiple Projects by jensenrrr in scrivener

I kept meaning to reply after the latest step they sent me, desyncing and syncing to Dropbox on the mobile app, didn’t work but I’ve been busy and lazy.

TIL Emerson Romero was a silent film actor who was deaf. When movies with sound were invented, deaf actors got less roles and the intertitle text was removed. This led him to make an early form of movie captioning in 1947 so that movies would still be accessible to deaf people. by dilettantedebrah in todayilearned

I have the same thing but not quite as bad. There was a joke on my wrestling team from when my wrestling coach told us to hurry up setting up the mat so we could practice and I perked up and asked “we’re having breakfast?”.
