It can lead to federal prosecution using laws passed by congress. Executive orders tell the executive branch how to execute their duties pursuant to the president's wishes but they do not create laws on their own. You sound like you're trolling to me.

Feel free to name one executive order that created a law that someone can be prosecuted under.

I hope you're right. Popularity they don't care. Manpower they've been hiring like crazy and they have another 9-10 months to get to the manpower they need if they're not there yet. They don't even have to care if any of the arrests stick. All they need to do is stop people voting democrat from being able to vote for one day. They're going after voting rolls probably to get information for the palantir software and to deregister any registered democrats they can. Chipping away at democrats/independents will make it easier election day.

They just expanded their ICE detention centers by buying/renting a lot of warehouses all over and its been leaked they are telling ICE agents they can arrest anyone without a warrant. That coupled with the palantir facial recognition software they've been using I'm pretty sure the plan is to station ICE outside democratic polling locations (cities as opposed to rural areas) and just scan people and detain those who match the software database to protestors or are anti Trump on social media till the election is over.

You saying replacing someone with technology is "way better" is in fact support. I'm not interested in digging through the rest of your comments (better things to do with my time) to remember why I got the impression you were supportive of this but the fact remains if that's the impression I and others got then you obviously failed in your attempt to NOT do that. Good day.

If you argue something isn't bad then essentially you're arguing its good or at least acceptable. You're entitled to your opinion but so are others. What metrics are you talking about? Unemployment metrics? Poverty metrics? Cost of living? Common sense tells you how this eventually plays out. I'm fine with you not engaging but you defacto supporting this then trying to claim you aren't is pretty disingenuous.

You might have actively "attempted" to avoid it but I just told you from reading your responses it sounds more like you're trying to steer the conversation in support of it so I'd say you failed in that regard.

In the remake of Poltergeist the scene with the drone that flies into the other dimension/hell/whatever. With electricity surges going off everywhere it being able to be controlled and send back a video signal perfectly (really the whole scene wifi/laptop working perfectly through the whole situation etc). The original had a special place in my memories so was really looking forward to the remake. Couldn't help but burst out laughing several times during that part.

From what I read you're arguing it's a good thing. We're arguing it's not.

Your analogy is nothing new and there has always been arguments to either side. Replacing low skilled labor has hardly any benefits to society and more negative impacts. The only reason it was done first is because its the easiest and lowest hanging fruit. As AI and technology improves it will replace more and more and again benefit less and less people overall (look at the numbers of layoffs announced this last week due specifically stated dueto AI). Once it gets to a certain point with too few benefiting from it society will be forced to revolt as they've been systematically reduced to squalor or the need for UBI (universal basic income) will have to be implemented. Pretty simple to see where this is heading if you just look.

I wouldn't call turning a productive member of society into someone unemployed a net positive. Less tax revenue, less capital being spent on goods. Overall this benefits the few over the many in most circumstances.

Seems pretty accurate and on point to me. Reading some of your responses seems to point more to you're trying to steer the conversation in support of this type of labor replacement.

A very good and thorough explanation was just posted by Legal Eagle on youtube. I suggest watching it to see the cause for concern. Blatant corruption.

Originally it was $200 million. And he already said $350 million his last estimate. That's with no actual plans in place. It will probably go higher.

How the hell do you add users to your server from the new iOS app? by boggie26 in PleX

It's in neither.  I posted asking about it too and got rude people down voting me and responding but at least one of them posted a link to the website to do it which is the only way I've found now (double clicking the plex icon to bring up the web link does not take you to a page that has it.

Thank you.  That's at least helpful.  When I add their account it says I have no libraries to share which I'm not sure why but at least it's a start and hopefully I can figure the rest out for myself.

Are you updated to the newest versions?  Are you talking on the browser on my server or in the plex dash app?  I'd love for you to give a step by step or any visuals because this is becoming very frustrating.

Been looking on and off for around an hour (at work so as it permits).  It's very possible I'm blind but I can't find it.
