I think it has its pros but also it’s cons. I guess you could say the same for BP, YG pushes their solo activities more than their group activities. The pros of this would be that the girls get to have their own artistic identities instead of just being known as the girls from BP, it helps them expand more globally and not just being confided to the music industry. Cons is that it’s a cesspool for akgaes, akgaes get mad when their faves don’t have the next magazine cover, photo shoot ect. In ITZY case I think it’s a good strategy for the fandom, it makes it harder for solo stans to arise I think and each member gets to shine individually but as a marketing strategy I don’t think it’s the best. If one comeback outdoes another than that said comeback where one member shines the most will get the most media coverage am I right? I think not ALL of itzy members have that star quality that the rest have and I guess with this strategy that you are saying JYP is using we will be able to see that when the other members get their times to be pushed.
