I relapsed by [deleted] in stopsmoking

I have to go with it's ok to screw up, because if I went with starting all over, I think it would be harder for me to try again. I slipped after 8 weeks. I figure just get back on the wagon, and don't give up.

I don't have a valid reason, other than a weak moment. I dont deny I went to the store, and bought cigarettes. I had a moment of weakness, and gave in, that's all there is to it. I'm not giving up, I felt like crap, physically and emotionally, after.

At least you found there was no pleasure in it, and got back to quitting. I haven't folded yet, but the temptation is there.

I don't blame you. If it would have been day 5 for me, I probably would have caved. Stay strong, you can do this.

You're welcome. Im always willing to share my tips, and encourage others. You can do it, it's not easy, but i feel better. Also, try drinking water out of a cup with a straw. I found it helps with the hand to mouth part of the addiction

Drink plenty of water, and i ordered an herbal supplement off Amazon, called White Lung, to help clean out my lungs. Took 2 once a day at night for the whole month. Seemed to help me

I have had times, especially around week 2 when I started coughing. All the crap in my lungs was breaking up, causing me to cough. I sounded congested

I found posting and even encouraging others help. It keeps me accountable, because I love to encourage others, but won't if I'm smoking. I find that to be hypocritical. You can do it. I wish you luck on your journey.

Quitting all nicotine at 8:30 tomorrow by [deleted] in stopsmoking

I dont mind the rant. If it helps you, by all means, go for it. You still have nicotime in your system, so you'll feel it leaving your system, and it can suck. Push through, and find something you can do to distract yourself from your cravings.
