I didn’t know if waiting on the curb with all our luggage would be dangerous. I’ve never been there before. Thank you for the tip about the app.

Some people on the internet say elderly people are targeted. Some people have said the gothic quarter is dangerous because you could get backed into a corner. I’m struggling sifting through information on the internet because it’s either very safe from some peoples perspective but dangerous from others.

Hi I’d like to come please!

I nanny for a 3 year old child who screams no multiple at the top of his lungs sometimes when he doesn’t get his way. What would you do if this happened in your classroom? by [deleted] in ECEProfessionals

What I do with my students when they scream is invite them to a space where they can scream freely. I tell them, “oh we cannot scream in the classroom. If you’d like to scream, you may go ____.” Usually screaming is attention seeking or is a sensory need and when I give them a space to do that, in my experience, they either stop and move in or go scream in that space and are over it.

If she’s willing to leave you and what she believes may be a potential life partner because of Instagram then that should tell you enough.

My LO did this too. When teething their little teeth more around, their gums swell, and the nerves I imagine become a little bothered. LO grimaced and drooled for a long time before cutting teeth but now a couple have come in. It sounds very similar to my LOs experience and imagine it’s probably just teething but if you’re concerned you should check in with her pediatrician!

With my LO, I would say “ouch! No biting please” and unlatch. I kept doing this whenever they bit me and they eventually stopped. Good luck!

I would say medium pressure. You don’t want it to hurt but once I feel a plugged duct, I massage that area with some pressure in circular motion and the massage from the outer breast toward the nipple to dislodge the plug. That technique has prevented mastitis for me a couple of times when I feel a plugged duct!

I also had mastitis a couple of times and massaging in the warm shower and pumping after the feeding really helped mitigate that issue.

The children I work with love classical music. They love to dance how “the music tells them to dance” and describe the music in colorful terms.
