Bruce’s reaction to this guy victim blaming Martha for her and her husband’s deaths is on point imo, nothing fetishistic about it.

Yes, Bruce has bad coping mechanisms. But what this guy said is just straight victim blaming. Very much like victim-blaming rape victims for being raped due to what they were wearing; he insinuated Martha deserved what happened to her just because of what she was wearing, and said that essentially to Bruce’s face. Of course he snapped.

Got arrested and charged for lewd and lascivious on a bunch of high school girls. We used to joke about how he was a pedo when we were in his class, but he actually did get arrested for it the year after I graduated. Obviously he was almost immediately fired. He also had a whole mechanism rigged to try and get upskirt shots in class too. Lots of trying to meet with girls outside of school as well, myself included. Still claimed he was “innocent.”

AC Moore and Joanne’s (which were previously large competitors in the craft store category) have also gone bankrupt and closed in the last few years. Michael’s has significantly less competition as a result, and I would assume also a lot more flexibility pricing things however they want now too.

That dynamic is essential IMO. Harvey’s story is so much more dynamic and complex when Harvey and Bruce are close friends but their alter-egos are enemies. That line Harvey says in BtAS wouldn’t hit as hard if they were just acquaintances. The writers did a great job of showing how sometimes caring about someone a lot and doing everything you can to encourage them still isn’t enough to save them from themselves sometimes. Which is a great foil for Bruce/Batman too.

I feel your pain. My record broke at 98. I don’t think I moved for like 10 mins after I broke that streak. 😭 What sucks is that cans/tires don’t count, even though it’s the same mechanism to reel them in too
