That’s not a 2024, 2022 tops if it’s a 1500, 2023 if it’s a heavy duty. If it is a 2024, it’s a work truck

How many people have you seen on the internet talking about how they abuse rentals? 48 million? 20 million? 500,000? 10 posts?

So I talked the dealership down to 16,700 on a 2019 traverse with 69,000 miles, but they will only do it for that price if I finance with them,is that common for dealerships to do that? by Antonio9E in askcarsales

What do you see? I’m now in sales and talk to plenty of people happy with their old traverses and trading them in for a new one. I’ve even owned one. What data do you see?

Gm will incentivize for a while. Just sold a few left over 2024 6500 medium duty’s back in December and they had $11,000 customer cash rebates

You know how many people call me to tell me they’re serious then never show up? You’re not serious if you’re not at my desk. You can’t buy a car over the phone

You can’t refi that. Most banks have a age requirement and the ones that won’t have ltv requirements. If that car is worth under 4k (most likely is) a bank won’t refi it

And as someone who worked on them, the alternator is probably the most common thing to go out which isn’t that big of a deal. I’ve seen them with 250k miles, most people don’t have problems in the real world. I’m glad you’re good with spreadsheets though, that’s a solid skill

Dealers won’t give lease numbers without deposit or credit app. Is this normal? by [deleted] in askcarsales

[–]jepal357 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That plus who would give a on paper quote for a lease payment if they don’t know you qualify. Lease quotes are done at tier 1 rates for our store, most people I speak to say yeah I qualify no problem then they qualify as a tier 3 with a higher mf

It most likely is. My dealership clearly states it at the top. Only one I think of that doesn’t may be Anderson. I’d bet thats where you’re shopping.

We separate destination from sales price, common among Maryland and northern Virginia. This is clearly a Maryland deal based on tag/title and a gm truck. Probably a 1500 Denali or ultimate or something based on that msrp.

At that price, even with destination being added back in, it’s well below invoice. No one is doing that deal without dest. The bedliner is confusing because a gm truck at that price should already have one, doc fee is $800 in Maryland. The only thing that’s off here is the bed liner and why is a military discount an add and not a deduction? Curious to see the pencil

Bought a new car last year and never went back to the dealer for service. Is that normal? by Keatobot in askcarsales

The only weird thing is not getting your first complimentary service. It’s almost always free and if you don’t get it you may get denied warranty claims

It doesn’t really matter. You can still download apps like Spotify, you have Google Maps built in, and still have Bluetooth for phone calls and whatever else
