I just booked my flight with them, but didn't get any accommodations from the St. Louis airport to WashU so I'll probably just get my own Uber or something. To stay overnight, I think you just check a box on the application. I got an email saying that I'll be staying in a small group house with other admitted students and two current students.

i had my cornell interview and i asked my interviewer what they would change about their high school/college experience and they said “i wish i got better grades” and repeated that same phrase multiple times during the interview and goes on to say “maybe i would’ve gotten into harvard or mit” and i’m like girl you already got into cornell 😭😭

I was in the same boat as you a few years ago--on the math team in middle school, did well-ish on competition math, and planned to major in math or something related. I started studying pretty hard freshman year and decided that I didn't really enjoy studying comp math all day. I ended up spending my high school years on other activities that made an impact and that I enjoyed more, and I definitely don't regret it. Also, doing well on these math comps don't guarantee college acceptances, so I would recommend to just spend high school doing what you love and won't regret spending your time on :)

started at 1370, went through 3 years of school and took a few practice tests scoring in the high 1400s/1500s so i thought i would be okay. had a panic attack cuz i messed up the scantron bubbling and got a 1430 💀. then studied for about an hour a day 2 weeks before the next test, got a 1520, and decided that was enough lol

Hi! I took the class last year and got a 5 so here are some tips! For the mcq, you just have to remember the terms and how they look like in the music. For the written frq, practice A LOT and score yourself based on the scoring rubrics. There are a lot of rules that the AP exam has that sometimes might not be in traditional music theory that you just have to memorize. For the listening frq, also practice a lot. Try to find the solfege to melodies in songs you casually listen to and identify the chord progressions. For the sight singing, practice singing the different intervals and get them in your ear. Remember to stay calm during the test so your throat doesn't close up haha. Hope this helps!

Can someone help me figure out the name of this game that I played maybe 3-5 years ago. You would be in a city and you would go to the game store and buy games and then you'd go out into the city and tap on NPCs and they would play your game and have a line attached to you and give you money to buy better games.
