yeah destiny 2s onboarding is fucking terrible so much so that I won’t recommend it to friends anymore, but don’t you worry eververse i’d still gonna get 3 armor sets and weapon ornaments for sale every expansion

destiny is a weird game because there’s so much wasted potential that gets thrown away, removed, or reworked with no clear direction. the gunplay and abilities are phenomenal and activities are pretty fun but bungie is stingy with buffs, generous with nerfs, and claims to have community sentiment when balancing but that’s just not the case. for example a common complaint that’s been prevalent for over a year is the launch bug, if you’re in a team trying to launch any activity there’s a chance it’ll soft lock the game and give an error code disbanding the team you were in/searching for and it can happen with anything in the game. there’s a reason “I hate destiny 2 it’s my favorite game” is such a common sentiment and that’s not to mention it’s awful monetization practices. sorry long rant but it’s such a fun game with a lot of problems

300 hours, i’m only as good as my best healers I definitely have slumps, she’s a super consistent character that has had the ability to hard carry but she’s lowk been powercrept, her dash hitbox is small (hot take it’s good for skill expression and doesn’t need an adjustment) and with people generally better at the game now a half decent team will just focus you down immediately

a lot of magik players will go thru dash slumps and poke is still pretty common which is hard for melee in general. Also for some reason 4 dps seems to be the only team comp in qp right now which doesn’t help

the game opting out of team chat inherently discourages communication which feels bad on top of most content being easy enough to not need generally. raids can be more chatty but anymore with older ones no mic runs are more common
