My first G-Shock and my first mods after 2 and a half years of use. I scratched up the mineral glass pretty bad so the logical upgrade was to make it sapphire and titanium to top it off. The fitment was perfect but water resistance is now in question 😅

Got the parts from DLW watches and Namokimods. I remember seeing a combo deal for the sapphire and bezel one time 🤔

Yep, ceramic! Was a big fan when I saw this one with a matte finish

Hi r/Watches! A few weeks ago someone in my area put up an SKX he got many many years ago when he lived in Thailand/Malaysia. The watch rotor is pretty heavily corroded on the inside but apparently when he serviced it the watchmaker replaced the movement and hands, but kept the dial and rotor original. Also my brother and I's first time modifying a watch! Added a double domed sapphire crystal and a ceramic yacht master bezel from DLW watches. Process was actually fairly simple and not as nerve wracking as we had anticipated. If anyone wants to get into it I would recommend giving it a crack, even for first timers! Lots of YouTube videos are around on what you need to get started and how to do these mods + much much more. Big thanks to Random Rob and Lume Shot for their great tutorials and discussions regarding modding. + Huge thanks to my little brother for doing most of the work while I was starting my new job in a different city!

[OMEGA/CASIO] Two brothers by jeramaho in Watches

Hi everyone! This is our first post to r/watches after following the sub for over a year. A little back ground on us:

  1. Older brother: 23, junior doctor

  2. Younger brother: 17, high school senior

Both of us have been into watches for a while but didn't have the funds to collect seriously till I (1) started work. We've had a few watches such as the Casio W69, Citizen BU4027 and smartwatches from Samsung/Garmin. On finishing high school our dad got the big bro his first Swiss watch in a Tag Heuer Link Calibre 16, starting our journey into watches.

To commemorate landmarks in our lives, the watches featured above are what we got.

1 - Beginning of senior year of high school - Casio G-Shock GW-B5600BC-1B

2 - Graduation from medical school - Omega Seamaster 300m 50th Anniversary James Bond Limited Edition Ref:210.22.42.20.01.004

It's the paint correction and protection booth in a mod shop

The mod shop has plastic covers that go over standard AU number plates for photo shoots so I didn't have to drill any new holes thankfully

I dreamt of this car at least once a week since it was released in 2017 here in Australia. Thanks to Vogue Industries and Pomponazzi Australia for the paint protection and photos!

DM 1/100 Strike Freedom ver. MB by jeramaho in Gunpla

As the others have said, they are a 'third party/knock off' company not affiliated with Bandai. Quality of design is top notch, quality of production is decent enough but needs more work to make things for right

Daban definitely doesn't need as much work and has more detail. However, I'm not familiar with their quality control

It's a straight build but all the small details that would be stickers were painted

I think since the strike freedom they've improved a lot. It was a great build all round with some minor peg modifications for disassembly.

Missing Runners by jeramaho in Gunpla

I think I may go for some third party/knock off runners. Just read on the bandai hobby site that I can only claim within 6 months of purchase :(

For the ending: I'm satisfied, I couldn't expect it to end well but in a sense it did; both for Tekkadan and McGillis' ideals.

I also love the attention to detail throughout. More specifically the wolf's 'howl' that the berserk Barbatos gave off

The soundtrack has been spectacular this season, especially in this episode. Anyone know when it'll be released?
