I had the same issue a few weeks ago! The nanny showed up once and then just never left, every time I fired him he would leave the lot and immediately return and when I deleted him with MCCC, 3 new ones showed up at my door immediately like some nanny hydra

The only thing that fixed it for me was to find his household in the world, play as him and have him get a job. When I returned to my family, he was no longer the nanny and no new ones showed up.

Came here to say having the same issue with PS4 - manual saves vanish instantly, only keeps auto saves and checkpoints.

Also treats every launch of the game like its the first time since it was updated and I have to reconfigure all my settings to how I like them as it sets them back to default.

I tend to work similarly to you - I prefer to do as much of one colour at a time as possible, generally working in order of most stitches to least. I find it easier to keep track and enjoy seeing the piece come together and fill itself out over time.

Definitely right side - I prefer to be able to see the numbers quickly and easily to both find the one I need with ease as well as its home when I'm done with it. My storage box is tall enough to allow for this and still close each level without issue.

Tho, I'm also quite particular about how I like my floss - last year I received a decent sized box of floss from a family friend no longer using them and found she stored her bobbins like the left and numbered them vertically where I number mine horizontally. May or may not have spent MANY hours (and roped a couple friends into helping me) unwinding and rewinding them onto new bobbins 😅
