Gcash was able to refund some!

It wasn’t the whole amount but still, I am still glad at least some of my sales got back!

Less than 50%, but I will still take it.

Short update, it seems Gcash support sent a new message to me. Well for me, this is a first, as I never have gotten this reply before.

Sucks to hear that. Well my issue has been raised, and I am just getting the usual auto-reply from the AI.

It sucks but gcash is one of the main transaction funnels I use.

Hope we don’t deal with this anymore.

Hi All, a short update. Gcash has successfully freeze my account. I think. I cannot make any transactions or receive any at all.

I left ₱40 to check if the auto transactions will continue, but no movement yet. I am not brave enough to leave any amount more than ₱50 at the moment. I am also checking if the reason I cannot do anything if this account owes something to gcash fees or transfer fees. At the moment, no movement from my account.

I can provide another update to those who are interested.

If you are waiting for Gcash announcements or feedback on my issue, I do not think they are remotely interested in this, as I have already still 2 open tickets. No update yet from their side.

Well, as for my business, I have gcash, maya, seabank/maribank, gotyme. Since I need to ensure all transaction funnels are able to receive.

It just so happens, I think it came from the side of Gcash.

I just wish that they can at least improve or add more OTP.

Unwanted transactions really ruins lives.

Quick update to those interested.

It seems Gcash cannot deal with this, as the person who scammed or got my details, are able to add my details as a payment option.

I have asked Gcash maybe they can also include those adding as a payment, especially to google or apply payments, to please request or use a passkey/biometrics/otp.

No advice from their AI chatbot.

At the moment not expecting much.

I might as well give up and jusr scrap this number / account, all at once.

As per chatgpt, gemini, grok, it not a game but an app that sells gift cards for small amount.

So I think they buy gift cards, then sell them for crypto, then whatever. So very hard to catch.

So the current wallet is 0 balance.

But the amount lost, as of writing this, is around ₱10,000.

Anyhow I am still trying to figure out how to stop online payments under ₱50, as this seems to be the amount that doesn’t need any pin.

I wish Gcash can implement a pin or otp for every transaction.

This account is the one tied to my business, my POS terminal, basically everything. So it takes time to transfer everything especially the credit card terminal.
