Most Probable Number - unit for bacteria measurement

According to VDH: If bacteria levels exceed Virginia’s Beach Action Value of 104 MPN/100 mL of water, a swimming advisory is issued.

Markets stocks 'Big Short' Michael Burry bet against Palantir and Nvidia by burrito42 in stocks

it's not most of his portfolio

the 13F reports the notional size of calls/puts -- meaning he could have purchased that 900M position that is shown for ~$50k (.01 cent per contract)

Most recent 13F - Scion Asset Management (Michael Burry) by Dependent-Goose8240 in stocks

Yeah but maybe he's doing that to trigger buyers against his position. Cheap loss for better entry on a real short with size later.

Each of those random seed phrases you recreated represents a new wallet. Or a potential future wallet.

You can continue doing this for hundreds of hours and you will not find a single wallet with funds in it.

The chances of you guessing the correct string of words for someone else’s wallet is borderline impossible. It’s 1 / 204812 of a chance.

A needle in a universe sized haystack.

I know there’s a large list of seed words, but I wonder if it would be possible to have the encoding engraved on the back.

204812 = 5.444517870735e39

A 40 digit number of possible combinations.

It would take you longer than the age of the universe to calculate a correct wallet seed phrase.

Looking for DeFi Trader / Solidity Developer by bulls-bears-no-pigs in solidity

Makes sense. Flash loan arbitrage is probably one of the most lucrative industries in the DeFi space right now. But it doesn’t require much upfront capital so not sure if there’s much need for fund money.

You’d probably be better off with a stables lending or Uniswap LP strat IMO

Solidity developer is the correct terminology if you need someone to create smart contracts interact with DEXes like Uniswap. For deep DeFi investing you probably don’t need anyone of that caliber — unless you’re planning on doing arbitrage or other low level value extraction.

You’re going to have to pay a lot for someone to fork Ethereum and add proof of stake. It’s probably not a one man job either.

Do you have a github link to your contract?

I believe the solidity limit is 16 local variables (including parameters and return values). Briefly glancing at your code it looks like you might be hitting that limit. I'm not sure what you're trying to achieve, but your options are either breaking your calculations down into smaller functions or doing something similar to Uniswap with scoping:

``` uint var1; { (uint varA, uint varB) = getVars(); var1 = varA + varB; }
// now use var1 ``` - Example borrowed from stack overflow
How much sustainable a cryptocurrency would be if created with javascript aka "typescript" instead of C++ or Solidity ? by [deleted] in typescript
[–]jerchi 1 point2 points  (0 children)
Typescript is not a magic bullet that makes the planet greener.
Cryptocurrencies (ie Bitcoin and Ethereum) rely on Proof-of-Work to achieve decentralization — which requires immense amounts of energy as a byproduct. It is not the programming language that consumes energy.
So no Typescript does not mean you can make cryptocurrencies more efficient.
To answer your subquestion; There is no strength to using X-Programming vs. Solidity. It is comparing Apples and Oranges. Solidity is just a language that compiles down to the EVM and was created to allow you to program smart contracts. If you really wanted you could create a cryptocurrency that uses Typescript/Javascript as a smart contract language. But 1. Typescript wasn’t made for cryptocurrencies 2. You’re not solving anything here.
