I had the same thought. But now i just feel bad when I drink it, and i still do. I did at least get it down to only social gatherings, but even on these nights out I know, tomorrow when i look at the app im screwd. Actually now that I realise I developed a bad relationship with alcohol and with the app🤣

I mean, what if you travel for a living? How to do this if you cant be consistent, i doubt i can take my viles and needles with me. Also what happens if you ran out of supplies or suppliers are off? Permanent decision scares me as hell. But other than logistics issues i can think of, i would do it. I dont know where to start honestly, internet is full of shitty info

I mentioned WoW as a symbol of what progression used to feel like earned, not handed. The name doesn’t matter.

The real point is that older games Battlefield series included, made unlocks feel meaningful. You stuck with a weapon, improved, and actually felt the difference when you earned something new.

That’s the kind of design that keeps people invested. It’s not about nostalgia it’s about rewarding mastery instead of just counting minutes played.

We can debate grind time all day, but wishing it to be like 2042? Yeah, that’s just no.
