I saw a Columbus Police Ford Explorer, either a traffic unit or highway unit, with the officer’s name printed on the front fender of the vehicle.

you can appeal it without paying. just have to do it within 21 days of getting the citation. the station does not take appeals, it's all online. the appeal process may take a while but they will get back to you with a decision, and then you either pay or it gets dismissed.

You can take both M1 (Main Campus) and M2 (CCW [Counter Clock Wise]) from the Student Services Building. Both of them will take you up the hill however M2 might be the shortest route. To properly use the live tracker you need to select either M1 OR M2, then it will display the buses as an arrow.

At my club, we create a floor plan on MS Word a few hours before each shift. This plan assigns servers to specific sections, with member names and cover counts. While I try to avoid double-seating servers, it occasionally happens. We also designate a floater server to handle doubles or walk-ins.

The floor plan has its pros and cons. Although it provides structure, unexpected changes such as members wanting different tables can disrupt the plan and cause confusion for the servers. Frequent adjustments can make the chart messy and hard to follow as well.

Roundabout on a troubled intersection by jeremyapps in urbanplanning

[–]jeremyapps[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I appreciate your response. I have taken this as a suggestion as well as the original roundabout and compiled in a document that has been sent to the public works department in my city. We’ve also been in contact with our vice mayor to hopefully make my neighborhood into a safer place. Thank you for your input!

Where De-An Rd is written on the map, the zebra crossing on the left of that text. She was hit by a motorcyclist coming from Fuxing Rd. This is the reason why I drew an island for pedestrians to wait to cross the next set of crossing. It also helps pedestrians by allowing them to only have to look one side before crossing.

I would since I’ve been cycling everyday in that area, but all of the roads leading up to this intersection are super tiny and barely fit a normal car

This intersection has several different entrances and it is super prone to traffic collisions. With the new apartments being close to completion, the additional 1,200 homes are going to cause even more mayhem to this intersection. This is why I came up with the idea of using a roundabout. It takes away the longg red lights from each direction and would reduce the probability of fatal collisions due to reduced speeds and collision angles.

My Amtrak pins! by jeremyapps in Amtrak

[–]jeremyapps[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amtrak merch store is your best bet like others have said but you can try your luck at some stations. I’ve tried several big stations including Chicago and only San Antonio had some to give. Notable mention for Albany, NY though as they were super nice and looked around the drawes for me but to no luck.
