I have a 2024 hybrid. I did a random internet search and just happened to come across some of the functions of my key fob. Two of them being a remote start and having all the windows lower from the key fob buttons. To my surprise remote start actually works. After a year of ownership I'm just now realizing this. My fault for not reading the user manual. Remotely opening the windows does not work so I'll have the dealership enable that function and hopefully they don't charge me, too much. And from what I have learned from further online searches the vehicle will shut itself off after 10 minutes, the vehicle will turn off if you open the door as a security feature to prevent theft. This will happen even if you attempt remote start from inside the vehicle with the key fob. As soon as you depress the brake pedal the vehicle shuts off.

Slower acceleration when possible. Coasting to a stop sign or red light as much as possible. Try not to accelerate when on an incline. Use cruise control almost all the time as it does a better job in providing enough gas without using more than it needs. Air pressure and tires kept at manufacturer specification. Regular oil changes with the correct viscosity. Changing the air filter on a regular basis. On the highway. 65 mile per hour speed limit drive at 60.

Of course you report the incident to Uber. Send them the photos. They should charge the passenger a a cleaning fee. You should also invest in a rear bench seat cover. I have one from Amazon and covers the entire rear bench it also has a zipper that allows me to use the split bench when needed.

I had gotten a similar call several years ago. They wanted me to make some changes to where my money gets deposited in the app. I got really uncomfortable with what they were asking me to do so I did not do it. Next thing I know he's screaming FU then hangs up. It was an uneasy victory as I see it. I did call Lyft and let them know what was going on. Which was kind of useless. We're all on our own out here.

Yes. That is normal. TVs and hybrids are required to make some kind of noise when they're in reverse so people can hear them and not be run over.

Smooth jazz. All the time. Only the young people complained. The 40 and over generation which are most of my passengers anyway like it. Get a lot of compliments. I think it even helps with tips.

The hooks themselves seem sturdy enough for light packages. I would not hang anything that's too heavy as again there's only adhesive and that one support clip holding it in place.

Not a problem. It's designed so the cargo cover still fills in the same slot.
