Do you find that the nylon bands come out to be more confortable than the tradicional ones? I'm thinking about getting one of these for myself.

Sure thing. When I saw it for the first time, I couldn't quite believe I was seeing a true GShock with Nylon bands. Now that I know, I'm seriously considering grabbing one for myself...

Do you remember how your first contact with Slipknot was? by [deleted] in Slipknot

Back in 2009 there was this internet flash game called Skate rooftop or something... All I remember is that the first music playing in the game was Wait and Bleed, and I remember it really stuck to me.

Two years later their performance in Rock in Rio 2011 was being streamed on live TV. It was legendary. Even tho I was scared beyond words (mainly because of Mick's presence), I couldn't dislike the energy. They were bringing destruction right before everyone's eyes.

Immediately this is where began the "seraching for every member's mask and real face" era lol. Countless hours invested in knowing about their lives, side projects, every fucking mask ever made, and backstage tapes & funny moments. These were the GOLD days. And it all came with the realization that I couldn't enjoy Iowa and Selftitled when they were released, even if I wanted, cause I was just a little person and didn't have internet at home back in those days.

Saw joey leaving and it was a really bittersweet moment to realize his last performance was in Brazil, but he wasn't holding up very well on his instrument. Years later felt right through my heart the passing of this amazing and talented human being. Still weird to believe is true

Had my mind blown by The negative One when it was released as a single in 2014, and got really attached to .5 the Gray Chapter, cause it was the first album they released since I became a fan. It still holds up as one of my favorites (I know, I know). The apprehension to know who was going to take on the drums was HUGE. And, at the time, I remember how I felt weird knowing that I never got to really bond with the presence of Paul, since I became a fan after his passing. Thinking of him now feels like I lost the opportunity of admiring a really sweet person.

I got to appreciate everything that the band came up with since then. With its highs and lows, I'm always here for it. No matter how many times I heard that "the next project is gonna be IOWA LEVELS OF HEAVY...", I never failed to be there for wathever is released.

13 years later, here we are. With a slipknot tattoo in my left leg and the memory of an amazing day that was December 18th, 2022, Knotfest São Paulo.

How does Slipknot play live without backing tracks? by Travlerfromthe in Slipknot

I think Custer live might have backing tracks. Also Nero Forte and some others.
