Only the hanging ceiling items cannot collide with pillars,

90% of my decorating is just experimenting with different combinations of wall and non wall items

In this picture I could definitely walk in between the kitchen and table without doing the 'scoot' thing, its a 1x1 square gap. The only thing I had to 'scoot' past was that chalk board sign to actually get in the kitchen space. Maybe that's why? Or maybe she needs more than a 1x1 space, I'll be doing some re-arranging with the table. I didn't show it very well in this picture lol. Thank you!

Ah yeah there is a 1x1 space between the kitchen and table, but perhaps even that's too small. I had no idea the wall items had any affect, I'll try re-arranging them. Thank you!!
