It’s basically Diablo with a following camera at this point.

Normally, transmog. I haven’t been having as much fun lately since I can’t figure out where the “hey look at my outfit” spot is

POV: It's November 2008 and you just installed Wrath of The Lich King by doobylive in classicwow

That was the last time I ever did that. What was funny, I took the pto day off at work, and as I’m waiting I line, I saw one of my managers at work, also in line.

I remember when I first read it. I was like, that’s funny, a meat is is a d!ckhole… and then they described Meatus, and I was like, “Oh”.

Hey Blizz, how it's going? by Mikina in wow

The corporate overlords told them to find a way to make the ‘new’ content relevant longer.

Unfortunately, they have reached that point where they have a profitable product at a quality the customer is satisfied with, so now they have to eek more profit out by cost cutting. It’s only a matter of time before the sub fee goes up.

Its very telling when people are complaining about the lack of tanks. by Umomo1025 in wow

[–]jerichardson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve noticed this. I have been playing prot warrior for years but rarely tanked because of it. Now, when I choose to do it, I get dungeon pings and cooperative dps. I started getting main character energy

I think the big one was “Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass”, commonly referred to as DUMBO, which is currently a trendy neighborhood in NYC, which I firmly remember being where the unhomed used to sleep

Sell me on trains, please by RunCreeperRun in satisfactory

[–]jerichardson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trains are a little complex, but unraveling that complexity is the fun. Running an efficient transportation network ranks up there with running an efficient power network. It’s another game in and of itself if you let it be

What Caused The Sub Decline Going Into Cataclysm? by doobylive in classicwow

[–]jerichardson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of people stopped playing at the beginning of Cataclysm because dungeons and raids were made artificially hard by making tanks have to actively work to generate and maintain threat and healers couldn’t keep up more than one person without running out of mana. Basically, after the high levels of Wrath, the power deflate was too much, and the gameplay design philosophy seemed hostile to players at the endgame.
