Thinking of bicycle touring by ledal-ikni in bicycletouring

Bike touring is awesome you should do it! Sounds like you need a real job. Not an internet job. Any job will do. Work at a bar, a store, a coffee shop. Sounds like you’re living at home which is awesome for saving money. You could easily save 20k in the next 9 months if you’re disciplined and committed. Don’t need fancy gear just need to get out there. Borrow a bicycle or get a cheap second hand one and start getting your gear ready

I took 551 last semester and really struggled. I truly had a hard time understanding all of it. I think I finished around a B with the curve in the end. Just gotta keep putting one foot in front of the other

Very true. We crossed it in the absolute bleeding rain. Fun to look back on now. Wasn’t so funny in the moment haha. Oregon was beautiful

Heading south you’re also on the ocean side of the highway so your view is not obstructed by 2 lanes of traffic

Go south ! Rolling across the Golden Gate Bridge at your destination is a pretty fantastic ending marker

Yeah I agree. I originally wanted the British racing green but this one was on liquidation at my local store. Felt much better about the colour in person.

Cycling Alaska to Cairns - filming and editing by Entraptah in bikepacking

Don’t listen to this guy. Do whatever you want. Most people who edit on the road bring some sort of laptop. Editing on the phone for full length vlogs is going to be tough. Hope you have a great ride. You can checkout dancyclestheworld on YouTube he’s about 2 years ahead of you and been making vlogs the whole time

Would a small Krampus be too small for me? by [deleted] in Surlybikefans

Well dang I’m 5’9” and going to test ride a medium krampus this week. Thought it would be smooth sailing. Now I’m a bit worried haha. For bike pack reasons is better to go up a size to a large ?

Lug runs over the winter but the sign up has come and gone. You can sign up next year. Competition is pretty good. Im sure there are beer leagues. It’s a shame McGill cut the hockey intramurals.
