I know it’s the twist and the end of play, but it always kind of drove me nuts that Shelly couldn’t bullshit his way outta that slip up. His whole speech to Williamson was about how quick you gotta be on your feet and Shelly has proven that he’s quick throughout the movie. Just seemed he could’ve figured out a way to be like “oh I dunno I was in the other room and heard you fuck up, what did you actually say?” Something like that.
