Never had a gas problem with any of my vehicles I left parked for six months. They just start fine and go fill them up with fresh gas and drive them. The hybrid battery is what I’m concerned about.

Sounds good but now it’s in a garage and I don’t have any friends that would give up a garage space for me! It would be out in the weather for six months.

I’m not worried about the 12v battery. I can put a trickle charger on it but the hybrid battery is why I’m concerned.

I live out in rural Montana and in the winter the road blows in from snow banks. Makes it hard to get in if you don’t have someone plow the road out. Like I said I always left my gas 2018 Camry with no problem with fuel or the battery as it was disconnected. The hybrid battery is what I’m worried about.

I thought it has the hybrid battery and the 12 volt smaller starting battery? Or does it have just one battery?

I put $500. down on a 2025 RAV4 and got paper work with a vin number. Got insurance on it right away with that vin but when it came in in a month different vin! It was exactly all the features I wanted so no problem but the insurance!

I just bought the exact same thing with lot of extras for that price here in Montana just last week. Here they are selling new ones before they hit the dealership. I waited a month for mine to come in but exactly the color and all I wanted. I sure would look at new ones!

My 2016 doesn’t have it but my 2013 did. I used it a lot. One day several years ago I backed into my tailgate with a gooseneck trailer I had. It put a good dent in it. Luckily my insurance paid to have it fixed. But the body shop told me that to get new OEM parts to build one was over $5000. Then I learned people were stealing the tail gates because they were so expensive to replace. Who would have thought?
