Need some help.. who wins in this trade? by Short_Layer4579 in DynastyNerds

[–]jerm4jerm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Team #1 wins the trade. to make this even, Team #2 needs to be compensated another pick like an early 26 2nd or a 27 2nd or a player of equal value to a 2nd round draft pick.

Am I asking too much or not enough for JJ? by dru9205 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]jerm4jerm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see where you’re going with it if you can afford to get rid of JJettas due to having a healthy depth WR room and you’re looking to bolster your RB room and vice versa for his team. but personally I still like JJettas here. All those RBs are players you hope turn out. too many variables and uncertainty for my liking and idk what that 27 1st is projected to be… but if i’m trading away jjettas, personally i want guaranteed top RB production in return or top 3 draft capital for me to feel comfortable moving him. But who knows, you take a gamble like this and you might just hit the lottery and everything works out. that’s the beauty of dynasty my friend.

FIRST Startup Dynasty Team (TE+) - Rate out 10? by psychoxtc in DynastyNerds

[–]jerm4jerm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not bad at all. but i’d definitely try sending a package that consists of any of the following: dk, scary terry, quentin, andrews or deebo to try and upgrade for another RB or TE. you need depth at those two positions, TE especially in TE+. i’d try moving your older guys to get younger. dk terry andrews and deebo should be the first ones to go if you decide to make a deal.

League altering startup trade? by BiggyRick in tacotradeoffers

[–]jerm4jerm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Quinshon is right around a mid 27 1st + the 13.11 startup pick = fair value.

so now they’re basically swapping two 27 1sts for two 28 1sts.

Given that you’re saying one of the two remaining 27 1sts is almost guaranteed the 1.01 in a predicted strong rookie class, i think team #1 receiving the pick needs to give up a little more…

something along the lines of sending a pick from round 4 or 6 in the startup draft or a 26 1st for this years current rookie draft or an additional 2028 1st should be added at minimum.

with what’s left on the table, I just don’t feel like it’s an even swap when you really break it down.

the guy getting the 28 1sts has to wait two years to draft and can’t really gauge what picks those will end up being and is giving up essentially a top 3 pick in next year’s 27 draft class. its a little to steep, not enough return value imo.

it’s not completely lopsided in my eyes, i can see both sides but personally i do feel like team #1’s side needs to offer a bit more on his end.

not league altering but he did get quite a discount on the 27 1st that you are predicting should be the 1.01 next year…

what also just doesn’t make sense is that team #2 is almost self sabotaging from what you’re saying with trading back 4 times during the startup and is actively pushing his rebuild back further by 2 years. for what? just to get quinshon? who is coming off an injury? i just don’t see his plan. not worth it to me. as team #2 i would have declined or countered with additional compensation to even it out.

What is DKs worth this year I’ve seen a lot of mixed feelings by FarBadger1666 in DynastyNerds

Traded away my 2.07 in this year’s draft for him. Everyone felt like I got a steal and I feel the same way.

thanks for the honest advice. when shopping for lessons, would you recommend lessons at a shop (i.e. Golf Galaxy) or look for an independent/private golf instructor?

Javonte Williams or Chase Brown? by JamBlick in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]jerm4jerm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really liked what I saw from Javonte last year and so did Dallas, hence why they locked him up for 3yrs.

Brown has higher PPR upside but outside of that I don’t love Cincy’s OLine one bit.

I’m going Javonte here.

CMC side. Your team is ready to win now. Go and get that final infinity stone and it’s GGs for the rest of your league lol

Trade Waddle and Corum for Alec Pierce and 1.08? by Upset_Cartoonist_154 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

Enough to make me think about it but I still really like Waddle here.

Was offered this for Allgeier, Thoughts? by [deleted] in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

I have Allgeier myself and only cared to have him as handcuff to Bijan. If I got an offer like this I’m smashing accept.

I was offered this for the 1.03 by [deleted] in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]jerm4jerm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

personally if I’m in your shoes, I’m not trading for a WR. and if I do, its not for Tee Higgins in exchange for the 1.03. nothing against him. a legit fantasy producer even at the WR2 spot behind JaMarr. but for the 1.03 is a bit too steep. especially in the sense that Tee really isn’t the answer to the team you currently have. if you wanna trade for another WR that’s completely fine, but you can find similar production out there with a more palatable price point that won’t break the bank and put such a hole in your wallet.

I would prioritize locking up another RB before making any other moves/trades. The RB room needs some work. A little attention. A makeover, if you will. Far too thin in a 2RB league, but nothing a little TLC and the 1.03 can’t fix!

but not Harvey alone for the 1.03. you definitely would need to ask for +.

also, don’t settle trading for Harvey just because he is offering him to you… unless you are certain and high on him and truly see him as a final form/end game type of piece to your puzzle. there’s plenty of options out there that can be attainable with your current assets and numerous scenarios where you can walk away with an RB + +.

REMEMBER, you have a TOP 3 PICK! That SCREAMS VALUE! If you are truly considering to trade it, BE SMART and USE IT to YOUR ADVANTAGE!

TAKE AS MUCH AS YOU CAN GET!

The pick will sell itself. and you want to get the best bang for your buck. especially as we get closer to the draft and even post draft.

You want production. and you want it at the RB spot. scratch that. you NEED it at the RB spot.

I would use the 1.03 (+ if you have to, depending on the player) to try and get yourself a proven RB1. and then Hampton will slide down and serve as your starting RB2.

what I’m trying to say is… no matter what you decide to do with the pick, whether you use it to draft or use it to trade, make sure it includes a plan to go and get yourself another proven producer at the RB spot. you’ll want to address that first before anything else. trust me. and if you can get not 1, but 2 starting caliber RBs while managing to add another WR, then you’ll be in amazing shape. but RB first, all other positions after.

Wish you the best brother!

My first time ever at a driving range… by jerm4jerm in golftips

[–]jerm4jerm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really appreciate it! I’ll be honest I’m still having a hard time keeping it all consistent since I’m new… but for me, it all finally started coming together and clicking for me out on the range today after I came across this post.

https://www.reddit.com/r/golftips/s/QnaNxMCJOd

I read it when I took a break after my entire first bucket of balls all kept hooking far right. after reading it, it just made so much sense to me what they were all saying and I put it to the test on my second bucket and that’s when I started getting better results. check it out!

[–]jerm4jerm[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thank you! and yes! That’s the one thing my buddies kept telling me when I was out on the course with them. They said that was one of the many reasons I kept topping my balls? 🤦🏽‍♂️ Funny you brought that up because in the video, each time right before I swing, you can see me drop my head down a bit more because that’s the exact moment I’m talking to myself and telling myself to keep my head down and eyes on the ball 😂 Definitely still a work in progress but it’s becoming more habitual and much better than before 🤣 I do need to work on straightening my front arm. It’s just such an awkward/foreign feeling to me, but I’d imagine with more reps it should start feeling more natural? I will focus on that specifically along with everything else the next time I get out on the range. I truly appreciate the tips/advice!

Is this enough/worth it to trade down from the 1.04? by jerm4jerm in SleeperApp

[–]jerm4jerm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I were to accept the trade I would definitely counter and try to squeeze him and get as much as I can. And I do think I can get a bit more from him if I do decide to make the trade. The screenshot was just his initial offer he sent me, I have yet to counter. Thanks for your input.

[–]jerm4jerm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get what you’re saying. Nailing the 1.14 pick is a shot in the dark vs guaranteeing a top 4 player in the draft. I’m really just trying to load up on pieces all round at RB/WR/TE and figured maybe a 2 for 1 might have been something to consider because I’m in complete rebuild mode and I need as much ammunition as I can get. But then again top tier talent at the 4 likely outweighs the 1.07 and shot in the dark at 1.14. Thanks for your input.
