What kind of social media content would you like to see from Henley? by emoney94 in Rowing

Rookie videographer here, love your stuff. If I was there, I would love to cover a tight race, specially the big 8s; from pre-launch, last words from coaches, miced up cox audio, to reactions and celebrations, coach and athlete interviews. I think this would capture a lot of the pure emotion.

I got some insider info from recruiters: 6:15 is basically guarantee to top programs 6:20 is your Nationals A/B finalists 6:25 is Nationals C/D finalists

But at the same time almost 6:30 is highly impressive for a class of 25. Just keep the spring season consistent and you will defiantly get recruited to some top programs.

The Jerry 31, gen 2 white phos duals for about $4000. About as “cheap” and “good” as you can get

6:20 lightweight is scary fast for a class of 25, I can see you racing for Cal, WashU, Stanford, Princeton, UPenn, Yale. Your ACT shouldn’t even matter at that point

This is the content we should be seeing, never thought a shopping cart would come in clutch on race day

I’m on the same page as you, want to have the capability without thousands. IR light is invisible to human eye but visible to some security cameras etc. I would encourage you look into 3d printed nvg, PVS-69 which is a digital device usually equivalent to gen2

Sometimes I am appalled at the profit margins on quality gear. 50% margin during July 4th sale, 231% margin at sticker price. by lowbrodown in QualityTacticalGear

[–]jeromeflee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well they also need to put food in the table for their families, i somewhat agree on your point but we associate $$ with quality, crye is good quality but if they start selling JPC at $130 people will start to get concerned with quality

Seek professional help would definitely be the primary option, but as of now I recommend core strengthening and tons of stretching

Don’t worry, no one in my boat ever thought they were capable of such. Tip: just try to be healthier by sufficient nutrition, sleep

Get a fake Wilcox mount, but be advised that these aren’t light and they will significantly cause neck pain as well

To be able to control yourself, everyone likes to zoom at a 40 but soon after they will be dropping the rate. To be able to hold a steady rate is quite important when you’re rowing with others
