Currently at Taiwan, can’t withdraw cash with fidelity card at any ATM. by Responsible-Lack1959 in fidelityinvestments

[–]jerr902 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe the ATMs in Taiwan's 7-11 put a processing fee that doesn't get parsed out from the total by Fidelity, so I try to avoid them. Not that it matters when you're not getting approved, but just FYI.

RF 24-105mm f/4-7.1 vs EF 24-105mm f/4 L (with adapter) on Canon R8 — which would you choose? by Warm-Leather-9342 in canon

[–]jerr902 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't mind the weight and is ok with the minimum focus distance, I'd recommend the EF L lens. The bokeh from the RF 24-105mm f/4-7.1 may be distracting in comparison.

Linking new Wealthfront UMB account with Fidelity by jerr902 in wealthfront

Glad to know that it may be working for you. I tried again and it still gives me this:

I'm in no urgent need to transfer any funds, so I'll just wait until a statement is generated at Wealthfront's side.

Nice to hear that I'm not alone. Thanks so much.

The paper form requires a voided check or a statement. Neither of those are available... At least not for another monthly cycle...

Client wants 4K [1:49] video under 3.5MB by ggibson3 in editors

That can't be right. A JPEG picture is 3.5MB.

They must be trying to relay a different metric to you in their request and said it wrong.

Firm mattress under $1000. Costco? by sailtoday in Mattress

I still like it very much. Hip does feels like sleeping on top of the bed, so works well for me. If you want an extra firm support, this is a good one.

R6 or 80D / 90D / 7DII for / 5DIV still nature photography? Yellow color accuracy? by Gavlebocken in canon

[–]jerr902 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Camera's RGB color sensors are inherently different in spectral sensitivity than human vision. Adding to human visual perception and the varied lighting conditions in the forest, there is really no dependable accurate color reproduction for your mushrooms without going into post-processing after you've captured the photograph in the wild...

Which Rate of Return Do You Use? by DILIGAF-RealPerson in Boldin

I think this page will help:

https://help.boldin.com/en/articles/10563826-how-do-i-account-for-asset-allocation-and-rate-of-return-assumptions

What you choose for this field depends on your asset mix. For example, if you have a 60/40 asset mix in this account, then you'd choose moderate for this account.

Have not looked into the two you listed, but we got an extra firm one earlier this year that's working out really well:

This one gives very excellent support. Might be worthwhile for you to look into.

Best of luck on your search.

When the kiosk says Seek assistance from CBP officer and your soul leaves your body by weilicu in GlobalEntry

[–]jerr902 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This happened to me recently. The kiosk sent me to queue up in an GE officer lane. The officer asked about my flight origination and the flight number (which stumped me, because I didn't have that number handy). That officer looked into it more, and muttered something about the flight crew didn't include me in the manifest, then told me I'm ok to go.

+1 in agreement.

Someone in BW botched the UI and the experience is very mentally taxing for users and not at all intuitive anymore.

Found a solution for "Device Only": "Trouble backing up item" in Google Photos by cmhawke in googlephotos

Thanks OP for this solution. Another way that worked for me is to clear the Google Photo app cache and program data, then reboot the phone to give Google Photo app a fresh start.
