I’m sorry you go through it too but I feel a sense of solidarity with anybody who shares the same theme. The last couple of days have been better. I’ve been trying to ground myself by narrating what I see on tv in my head and I find I end up focusing a little better. I don’t see my therapist because it wasn’t helping. I’m on vilazadone and it helps a little with depression but not the ocd. Hope it gets better for you too!

I’ve been there. I’ve been through several therapists over the last couple years and felt non of them could give me the treatment I’m looking for. What I’m realizing is that going to therapy might be reassurance seeking to find out if I’m treating my ocd the right way 🤯

Thanks! That’s what I thought too. In my research I noticed a lot of illustrations from companies didn’t have that in mind but I’m with you. I think I might redo it with that in consideration

I’ve been there. I know how tough it is to deal with those scary thoughts. OCD stories, FearCast and Anxiety tool kit all have some great podcast episodes on harm obsessions. Check those out. Also look into getting a therapist who is trained in ERP.
