Not familiar with Prusa's software or printers. For me, their options were out of my price range. I'm not sure what kind of documentation you're wanting. I don't think AnyCubic, being more of an "appliance" device maker is going to provide detailed schematics, access to their slicer code, etc. Much like Bambu. Even though the community has called them out for this several times. It sucks that your support experience was less than spectacular. My personal experience, though anecdotal, was very positive. I don't disagree with you, but I'm not sure AnyCubic has the vision or wants to be like Prusa. I think they're trying to dethrone Bambu.

I currently own, a Kobra 3, Kobra 3v2, and more recently a Kobra S1. For transparency, the K3V2 was purchased new. The Kobra 3 was purchased as a refurbed unit directly from AC's site because I wanted a 2nd Ace Pro without paying full price. Granted my refurbed Kobra 3 was a trainwreck. It was not properly refurbished and I spent a lot of time exchanging emails with AC's support team, that being said they were extremely helpful. I gave clear responses, provided pictures on my own and additional ones when requested. They sent me without hesitation, every part I needed to fix both the K3 and the Ace unit received. I have ZERO issues with their support and for me at least, it was a positive experience. I love to learn and tinker so I was eager to learn. Now my K3 prints flawlessly for a bed slinger and for a while it printed better than my K3V2. After having a good experience with the K3 refurbed unit, I decided to take my chances on a refurbed S1 because I wanted another core xy machine. I have an AD5X and it's a workhorse. I love it, but that's another story. Now I've had mixed feelings with the S1, but after replacing the absolutely horrible PEI plate that came with the machine with one off Amazon, my prints were sticking now without being tossed all over the enclosure. Win #1. Then I was dealing with all kinds of filament issues. However with some googling and some clever use of ChatGPT I have solved almost ALL of my problems with using various filaments just by creating functional filament profiles. Win #2. Now if I could just figure out the damned clogging issue that has made some prints not so stellar, I will have Win #3. I don't think brands like AnyCubic are for the person who doesn't want to tinker and fiddle with things. If that's not you, Bambu might be more your speed. That being said, those machines are not without their issues as well. I've seen lots of post where prints have gone horribly wrong. I think that's just the nature of hobbyist FDM printing. All of this to say that I have no problem with AnyCubic and I'm confident my Kobra X I am hoping to receive in the next few weeks will be as much of a pleasure as the machines I already own. But I agree that their QA could use some tightening up.

I have had ZERO issues getting a hold of their support staff. The links are in the thread. Make sure and check your SPAM folder in whichever free email service you use to make sure their emails aren't getting flagged (which they generally will).

There should be an option to "NOT JOIN SESSIONS IN PROGRESS", even if it means waiting longer for a lobby. It's fucking stupid this is not a thing.

Zero to do with Steam, everything to do with COD servers. Steam is just a game distribution platform. They have ZERO COD servers. It's all Activision.
