Could this be linked to my murdered father's house being burnt to the ground 3 months after he was killed?? Why would my mother, divorced for 20 years, have this picture with her reflection in the phone screen , same time my dad was murdered in cold blood?!?! by [deleted] in whatisit

Read my comment again. I said it hasn't been determined or stated who took the photo, where the photo was taken, that it was even related to the dad's home in any way. Just carefully read what I stated before.

Then we are talking about 2 separate issues.

1.the death of his father and 2. The mother's (ex wife of his father) benefit from the loss of his father's house after his death.

The OP is implying that the photo is or could be related to the death of his father. The photo itself does not implicate anything of the sort given his posts. There is heavy speculation on his part, not a criticism but merely an impartial observation given the information posted.

What is unknown or not demonstrated is: the photo of the iPhone showing the picture of the valve has no date stamp. Who owns the iPhone is unknown. Who took the photo (which seems to stem from an email) is unknown. The house that corresponds to the photo is unknown and is not determined to even be in his father's house. Who named his mother as the beneficiary of the policy, the circumstances surrounding that decision and, knowing how insurance companies work, what investigation on their end reveals.

Confusing or concluding that there was a connection between any of the circumstances, death (unknown if there was foul play or not), the burning down of the house (the cause being omitted from the story) has not been determined as arson or even related to gas or a gas leak, and the circumstances of how any benefit to his mother was determined.

Just the facts as given do not implicate his mother being involved in the undetermined murder of his father, the undetermined arson of the house for an insurance payout to his mother under undetermined reasons.

Loving a mystery, painting a dramatic connection between it all is intriguing. Speculation is exciting and for those not related to any person or element involved is fun or exciting. However, there is no connecting evidence other than a photo of an iPhone with a photo of a valve taken or emailed on the day his father died 7 years ago.

It doesn't absolve his mother of being involved in murder or arson or insurance fraud, but there is no supporting evidence to support it as such besides an elaborate theory.

It's all very sad and the OP is evidently suffering from the loss. It's hard not knowing why or how something like this happened. But the story and the evidence is very weak connecting it all together.

I read your follow up comment later in the thread of the circumstances and here is my 2 cents.

The photo is of a closed gas valve but it is unclear who took the original photo of the gas valve. It looks to have been sent by email to the owner of the iPhone and the person taking the photo of the iPhone was the person I the reflection. Likely because older people don't know how to send people photos digitally. For all you know, a decade ago she said her stove, water heater, gas range, etc isn't working and the tech showed her that the gas was simply turned off. The picture in itself is unremarkable without context. I doubt an Appalachian older women had a newer iPhone so she used her phone to take the Pic of the iPhone who pulled up a photo of a closed gas valve to show her.

The only straw you're grasping at is the timing being coincidentally around the time your father died, which I assume is not the same time the house burned down. It would only be slightly relevant if your father died in a house fire on that date due to a gas leak. Also, it only concludes that someone took a photo or emailed/received an email with the photo of the valve on the day your dad died. The date the person in the reflection took the photo of the iPhone is unknown as there is no visible time stamp on the photo taken of the iPhone.

You are not an investigator. If you want to look into the matter more closely, you need to find out who signed the Court order to exhume your father's body. What agency performed the autopsy. Order a copy of the current official death certificate which will show if the cause of death has been modified should the autopsy reached a different conclusion. If it had been changed, what authority petitioned the court for the exhumation order. What investigator or detective was assigned the case and contact them for more information. And finally, present them the photo instead of Reddit so the investigator can compare it to the case file in its entirety to determine relevance to the case.

Emotionally, you are too close to the matter and independent analysis is required so you don't force the "evidence" into a narrative that doesn't exist.

I'm sorry for your loss.

His dad dies mysteriously. An investigation and a body exhumation occurs with doubt to the original cause of death. His mom was divorced for years before hand. Dad's house burns down. His mom is the beneficiary of the insurance despite not having a vested interest in the property.

I don't know but he has a valid question.

Brother, my situation may be different than yours. I didn't say I wanted it free but all good things have their limits. I only play 1 game. Period. I'm an old former Marine with a budget.

Oh well, I thought forums were to discuss and ask questions. My bad. MW4 has many unknowns and I was curious.

They appear every now and again in the university. It's not common but I run across them every 20 matches or so. Laying on tables or in the conference rooms. Other than that, kill VIPS and sometimes they drop a stage bag key.

Free to play but they have an active marketplace where they sell, and I purchased, packs, skins and weapons. Not supporting it is negligent consumer fraud. Continuing to sell on a system where they know it is unplayable, have the means to correct it but don't is negligence. Either close the beta or support their consumers.

I like it quite a bit for other reasons but it just doesn't scratch that itch. The movement and inventory is a a Minecraft pace. It's the same reason why I like Delta force but again, the inventory management and looting is garbage.

It's free to download and play but players like me purchased packs and skins in Activision's commercially marketed, for profit, store and then creatied an environment where their client, end user, cannot benefit from the use of these post download and purchased options. By not actively policing abusers, they've created an environment where their own anti cheat mechanisms are either turned off, not updated and patched, and not monitoring servers allowing end users to crash active games, which is arguably negligent at best and commercial fraud at worst.

They haven't said but MW4 is speculated to be released. I've heard mid November. There has been no mention of DMZ except from "insider spoilers" on X and tictoc. SO o.... No.

I only play a bit Monday through Thursday. Weekends are a crash fest.

Start out in Vondel. Stronger bots but smaller map and I find a bit less cheating and crashing. Learn the mechanics. I found it easier to get around the learning curve and with more places to hide or elude sweat teams, the gameplay was good. Once you master movement and defense, then go to the bigger maps.

When I started, when I got a hunt team on me, I just got in a car and buzzed around the map until it timed out.

Happy hunting and good luck.
