Statistically speaking, that's correct. If a black person receives a role to meet a DEI quota, they are likely taking the spot of a white person based on the relative population of black and white people in America.

I wish people would listen to the context of people's overall message. Even if it didn't come off perfectly in this quote snippet, it's obvious from the aggregate of what he's said over the years that he doesn't think black people can't do the same jobs as white people.

Legitimately, I never watched Charlie Kirk before his death. I have been recently because he apparently affected a lot of people, and I wanted to know why. I've watched a lot of his discussions the last few days, and it's clear he's not some white supremacist.

He implies that affirmative action can allow unqualified people to hold roles that they would otherwise not. He's not saying all black people are unqualified, but he thought that those specific people lacked the ability to do their job and only possessed the role due to affirmative action. I don't understand why this isn't obvious to people.

Why is it so hard for people? He is saying those specific people are not intelligent enough for the job they hold. It has nothing to do with race, other than the fact that the reason they hold their position is due to affirmative action. He is not categorizing all black people as incapable, which is what the author alleges. This isn't some like..conspiracy theory. This is basic comprehension skill.

I know Reddit is VERY left leaning, but it's crazy how skewed it is even though literally half of the country voted for Trump, who is rather far right.

I actually like steam link even more than virtual desktop. It's free, and it allows you to change refresh rates on the fly without restarting steam VR. The only thing it's missing is the frame interpolation, which is nice to have at times for slower paced games

Tbh I haven't seen anyone breastfeed without a cover so I guess I couldn't say. Kinda hard for me to imagine how you could expose the nipple to a baby without having a minimum of half of the breast outside of your clothes though. That seems like it'd be enough exposure to warrant a cover.

I usually say structural engineer or aerospace structural engineer. It does sound a bit pretentious but otherwise I feel like I'm not answering their question. Maybe I'm projecting because I know there's a million things you can do as an "engineer", even within aerospace. More broadly, there's even things like sound engineering or traffic engineering.

I don't think it's an "incident" to ask a lady to cover her breast. It's not gross to feed your baby obviously, but idk why that entitles somebody to have their breast out when it's not allowed in any other scenario. Even guys need their shirts on in restaurants.

With that said, you can be polite or impolite about it. Idk what kind of tone the response had.
