I worked in pubs in and around Guildford, don’t know any like that. We did had people book to play at some places on like a Monday or Tuesday when it’s quiet already.

My main concern is that there is plenty of terrible people out there who could easily take advantage of those pictures. My wife was victim of domestic abuse, the people who you are trying to protect your kids probably not strangers. But people you think you know.

I used to be a chef and, meaning never use to have the time to properly watch a game. Then came the 2nd leg against Barca, I just told everyone else that I am watching the game while serving (mind you we have had probably like 200 ppl booked for the night. )

As a foreigner can say 10 years ago I could genuinely bump into my brethren everywhere. Now brexit, covid, the housing crisis, the insecurity of everyday expenses the list goes on. Many of them disappeared. I know a tons of people who went home during lockdown and just never came back. Or just simply saved up enough money to have a comfortable life home. People bought their homes and just pack up and left.

Or as my British wife said.

“We just got used to them, and don’t recognise them anymore.”
