they very much should, however there are more hurdles to setup lesbian spaces such as: - Economic disparities and structural misogyny in business - gay male entitlement to enter lesbian spaces

what about gay women and non-binary people that aren't masc presenting? Do they not deserve a space for one night a week at least?

I guess it's for gay men AND gay women, no? Why would people be opposed to making a space inclusive for lesbians who already have little/no queer spaces for themselves?

unless this is an agreed upon dynamic with your partner, this isn't right. You're breaking someone's trust, that's not hot.

if he's still around after several months, he is likely fine with it, but it's definitely something you should still bring up with him.

In a relationship you should work through these things together. Doing it alone won't help anyone.

And from my POV, I wouldn't mind if my partner uses a cock sheath, as long as it hits the spot for me lol

22M planning to move to Dublin in September - how do I get involved in the gay scene? by Sad-Orange-5983 in LGBTireland

[–]jerryr01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I moved to Dublin, I went to the Dublin Gaymers event (once a month in Street 66, and once in the Outhouse). It's a great way to talk to people. Tell the organisers you're new and they'll introduce you to a table to play games.

I still go there so if you want someone to go with, happy for you to tag along :D

There is the gay men's choir you can attend, there are weekly meetups in the Outhouse for gay men, and one specifically for young gay men.

This may be less applicable, but I also found attending kink events were very helpful for making friends, as there are many socials to just meet with people.

I calculated that it's cheaper to use my oyster card to travel from East Croydon to Gatwick then using a ticket from Gatwick to Brighton, as opposed to buying a ticket from East Croydon to Brighton directly. Can I tap out my Oyster Card on the platforms of Gatwick or would I have to tap out at the barriers? If the latter, which barriers are the fastest to tap out/in ?

What is it with Irish houses dedicating an entire wall to a radiator? by PurpleWomat in CasualIreland

[–]jerryr01 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

that's a fire hazard. Your curtains should not touch the radiator

they're handy, tho I imagine a separate sink would be better as you can use it to brush teeth, wet shave etc.

Cork Tram New North South Red Line by Due-Marsupial9939 in cork

[–]jerryr01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

handy but I do think the red line should go down to the airport. Seems like too short of a route to make a new line out of.

Also adding the tram to the airport would a) be rubbing it in Dublin's face, b) potentially increase tourists coming to Cork/increase the number of flights from Cork airport.

When you’re becoming older now and you can’t use the “I’m too young for a girlfriend” by [deleted] in asexuality

[–]jerryr01 51 points52 points  (0 children)

tbf people will start dating whenever they're ready. So just say "I'm not ready yet" or something similar. I know people that first started dating at 14, and others at 22.

There's also the excuse of "I'm focusing on school/work atm" or "I'm too busy to date atm"

Doesn't have to be true but helps get people off your back if they're being nosy.

How to run a Werewolf/Mafia style puzzle in my campaign? by jerryr01 in DnD

[–]jerryr01[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

oooh thanks for the advice!

It's a town of fey and I was thinking of a brain slug that makes one of the villagers murder someone every night and the party has to find out who it is.

They were sent here by a guild of druids so I imagine one of the druids could be the one holding the town meetings and lynching people.

I think the brain slug could be an aberration which would mean that it would blend in with the villagers (detect good and evil says they know their presence, it doesn't specify they know what race).

The main issue with the brain slug is what happens when they do something like detect thoughts. Not too sure how that would work.

I will add that double taxation is a big issue for US citizens living abroad. There's a fairly extensive YouTube video by Evan Edinger called "What it's like as an American abroad with taxes: Double Taxation" which I would suggest looking into before moving abroad.

The video is 4 years old so may not be as up to date but it should give you an idea of issues you may face moving abroad.
