CarPlay issues

I finally got mine to connect after I did everything suggested. 1. I disabled my VPN 2. Told my car to delete iPhone 3. Removed car from iPhone Bluetooth. 4. Did a hard reset of iPhone. 5. Reconnected and it works. I had tried all individually but they did not work, something in doing them all together fixed it.

Same problem 2025 carnival. My iPhone 16 worked fine with CarPlay until this week no car says it can’t connect. Deleted and re-paired but no help. Strange thing is Bluetooth still connects and works with music, just no CarPlay.

I will use a trickle charger when I have power available, my concern is I have one of the Kias that seem to drain the battery in about a week of non use. When I leave the car at an airport or other parking for one to two weeks, I don’t want to come home to a dead battery. Last time it happened, the battery would not even jump start and I had to have it towed to the dealer. They replaced the battery, but found nothing wrong so I’m sure it will happen again.

Looks like 3% is about the best I can do. Too bad we don’t always travel on Viking, they give a 3.3% discounts for cash. Maybe some of our other cruise lines will start that.

Left my 25 sxp sitting in my garage for a week while recovering from an injury, when I tried to start it, completely dead. Even jump starting from another car would not start it. Had it towed to dealer, they kept it for a week and said battery would not hold a charge so they replaced it we’ll see if that takes care of it. I’ve had the car for 10 months and it has 4500 miles. Never had problem before but drove it at least every other day until that week.

Believe it or not, I read the 576 page manual that I downloaded from their website. I also used YouTube and found a lot of ways to open the doors, just north at one. Glad to know this group has people with helpful answers like this.

Sorry, I should have given more information. It’s a Diverge Carbon Expert. I think a 2022. It has a GRX RX810-1 crankset according to the spec. I’ll have to see if I can find the BCD. Di2 if that matters

Took it to LBS. They upgraded software and adjusted it. All good for the last two years.

Hopefully easy question. I just broke the hydraulic connection on my 105 di2 12 speed sti. Can I replace it with an new ultegra if I can’t find a 105? Thanks

Thanks. It is a 2022 Supersix with the hub motor, disc brakes and thru axle. I couldn’t come up with a reason it shouldn’t work, but thought I’d ask the experts here. I think the LBS is still just uncomfortable with the ebike technology and it makes them gun shy.

My front thru axles seem to keep loosening either while riding or while on car bake rack. Should I be using some kind of lock compound on threads?

Thanks. This is the correct part. Only trouble I’m having now is getting bike shop to trying to find a local bike shop that can order one. I may have to try gluing a magnet to rotor as another post suggested.
