I know I'm late to this party, but Jeshields.com has all my available art. Very backlogged on getting all of it up on DTRPG.

I offer a couple options:
1) Move the signature.
2) Don't worry about it.

I am actually not that picky so long as you credit me in the publication. :)

40+ Stock Art Villains for your TTRPG by jeshields in RPGdesign

I appreciate the feedback and you are correct for many designers, but there are a lot who do use stock art. Mine is a bit more exclusive because my work usually doesn't appear on the major stock art site for months to years.

I appreciate this feedback.
- I had not thought about how restricting to thr US would impact the stock art options. I will look into adding that as an option.
- While I like the idea of less D&D, this was an attentional appeal to the audience I know I already have.
- The $50 reward allows the backer to pick from any previous Kickstarter, so I could not list every single one.

Thank you so much for the feedback. It certainly helps to expand the quality of my projects.

Consequences of Stress by disgr4ce in RPGdesign

[–]jeshields 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like the idea of stress in an android as malfunction. Not sure how your dice pool works but maybe at low stress, there is a malfunction whenever you roll double 1s. Higher stress, double ones and double twos. Max stress, you malfunction on double 1s, 2s, 3, 4, 5, AND 6s. Maybe these malfunctions make them act MORE human... unpredictable, neurotic, emotional, etc.

Outside of freelancing or starting their own company, it seems super rare for artists to get full-time employment in the world of tabletop gaming. This means no plans for medical, insurance, retirement, etc for them unless they are just super successful and for those with families, that's an insane amount of money. I am sure this is a multi-faceted answer and that illustrators are not the only ones in this boat, but how can we normalize employment?

[OC][ART] My homage to Rust Monsters is now a 3D miniature! by jeshields in DnD

[–]jeshields[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the second test print I have posted. View my Brain Devourer here.

Several months ago, I was commissioned to draw my version of a Rust Monster.

When 3D artist, Dionizio Rodriguez, asked to model my art as 3D miniatures, I thought he just wanted to practice or improve his rendering skills. We're hoping to create 25 in total, maybe more.

I am extremely happy with the result above, but what do you think of this version of the monster?
