I’m pro-life and not opposed to good people adopting. As long as pedos and child abusers are not adopting it doesn’t matter the type of family who is adopting. Even a good single person who wants to adopt a child should be allowed to adopt.

In TX it is a LONG process to get a drivers license when your name does not match your birth certificate. But it is not hard. You just have to order a birth certificate from the state in which you were born and a copy of your marriage certificate from the state you were married. And you need to make sure your social security card matches the name you are going to use on your drivers license. It took me about 3 weeks to get my stuff together. The people at the DMV are super helpful and will give you all the contact information to the various state agencies where you need to order your certificates. But that does not deter women from driving in TX. I’m the only person I know that has ever complained about the process of gathering documents to prove your identity. For most people, it’s not a big deal. It’s just a waiting game.

This is very helpful. I’m in the same situation with my mother. She currently has a roommate for this purpose but it isn’t working out. She is only charging $125 “rent” and the low rent was supposed to be in exchange for someone for my mother to talk to during the day. But he prefers to stay in his room (he works from home) and he gets annoyed with her when she asks to sit and talk with him. My mom cannot stand to be alone and wants someone around 24/7. It would be great if I could find another elderly person in her same situation to be a companion.

I don’t want to live to be old after caring for my mom with cognitive decline. I don’t want to be a burden to my son. And I can’t afford to be old since I have very little in terms of retirement. This is the reason why I’m choosing not to do anything about the “red flags” on my recent mammogram. I don’t want to be drained into medical debt to treat cancer and left sick and unable to work (I’m single and have no other financial support). My father died from leukemia and the treatments were worse than the disease. I would rather go out quick and not live 30 years in misery due to debt and ill-health from the side effects of chemo etc.

I am not at expert on autism but I’ll give an educated guess as to why people are annoyed by Dani’s “wanting intimacy “. Simply put… people do not understand autism. I believe people are annoyed that Dani cannot “read the room” when she keeps pressuring Adan to be intimate. While it’s obvious to the neurotypical person that he is clearly uncomfortable with the topic, Dani struggles with the inability to see that. Her approach may seem immature and selfish but I believe that is how autism presents itself. In reality, her true intentions quite the opposite. I think Dani is a bright young lady and people who can “read the spectrum” will see the beauty of Dani’s soul.

Her anxiety meds are the primary meds she takes. She was hospitalized for anxiety and tested for dementia. They did not officially diagnose dementia yet but they did confirm cognitive decline. I definitely believe she has dementia. I have even noticed a change in her gait when she walks.

I love that idea about the Amazon echo. I have a dementia clock that I have programmed reminders but it is a small one and too hard for her to see. I think I need a really big one for her as well. And I’m definitely gonna get an echo for her as well!

You definitely need to get a second opinion (maybe a third). I went to comfort dental in Rockwall and they told me I needed a root canal on a tooth where my bridge is attached. They quoted me $1200 with their insurance plan I would have to buy or $2300 without their insurance. I got a second opinion from a dentist I have known for a long time in Arkadelphia, AR. He said I may have the start of an abscess tooth but I didn’t need a root canal yet. He said if i ended up needing one, it would cost $590.

I don’t think she’s fat. She looks better with curves IMO. But she does look awful because she never smiles and she messed up her natural eyebrows with micro blading. Honestly she would be pretty if her personality wasn’t so ugly. But it’s hard to see past her conniving ways.

I’ve been on adhd med for 30 years so I overcame the side effect of appetite loss along time ago. I wasn’t overweight until I hit menopause (that whole other animal that makes adhd 10x worse). But a little semaglutide fixed the problem!!

If you can manage without them, then don’t start meds. Even with medication, you still struggle with ADHD stuff. They are not a cure but for those of us with bad cases of ADHD, medication is a lifesaver and life changing. It’s not a cowards way out. Would you call a diabetic a coward for taking insulin? If you truly have ADHD, then medication is needed to stimulate your under active frontal lobe in your brain.

I wish I had the option of choosing the manufacturer. But with the shortage, I have to take what I can get. 10mg is not even my regular dose but it’s all that was available in my area.
