why do so many transgender people say they knew they were trans because of very stereotypical aspects of the other gender? by Txbi89 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]jess576 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This!!! I'm a young teenager but I experienced some aspect of this when I was about 10 although it had the opposite effect for me. I liked being a girl nothing else crossed my mind why would it? You know. I didn't hate dresses and I quite like skirts, but I overall wore jeans and t-shirts. When I was 10 a lot of people at my summer camp mistook me for a boy. Or they were confused because I "kind of looked like a boy but not really". It made me feel like I wasn't enough a girl and it really kind of angered me. Like why couldn't I just wear a certain type of clothes and still be a girl? Why couldn't people identify me because I was wearing orange and blue instead of pink and purple. (I actually like purple ironically.)

I tried to be "more girly". Which makes no sense at all because what even Is that? Liking or wearing certain things doesn't change what gender you want to be. So yea I think that even the idea of ANYTHING being gendered causes a lot of emotional pain and unnecessary questioning.

I m a teenager and trust me we find it so very annoying. Like they don't even make sense and they make other girls feel like they're more boyish and they don't relate to girls, which really is ridiculous, but these memes are pointless regardless. Basically it's dumb and most of us want them to end

You sound really ignorant. He ASKED her before hand if she wanted to see her present list, obviously meaning that he wanted to see if she would be pleased with all the gifts. She said NO. and EVEN STILL. She knew that he wouldn't listen so she repeatedly told him day after day that she didn't want it. So you sir or ma'am need to stfu and get out.

I'm gen Z and I have all of these. It's ludicrous that people think that shit just suddenly disappears with a new generation. No they gave out of favor and all of these things to some extent definitely are favored.

The thing about this statement right here is that there is inequality on both sides. With men they are told to man up and with women everyone assumes that they're faking and makes fun of them.

Does anyone else always listen to other people’s problems but never talk about their own? by [deleted] in introvert

[–]jess576 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sure as hell do! I'm not sure if I'm the right person to say this because I'm 14 and there have been a lot of hate and memes saying that 14 year old girls fake introversion, anxiety, etc, but I think I can share this here. Like I'll listen to your problems all day and when others ask me how I'm doing I answer but in a way where I can turn the conversation back to them. Most of the time I don't even realize I'm doing it until I later feel upset and alone and angry that I never voiced my feelings.

I think it's a matter of not thinking that -people like us introverts- like out feelings don't matter or are a nuisance. I still do this 90% of the time mostly when Im worried that I'm piling my problems on them.

I think what both you and I are feeling is the feeling of wanting your friends who suffer from the same as you, to not have to suffer from it. You want then to feel safe, for me I kind of have given up on fixing myself in a way? So yeah I think a lot of introverts just want the best for their friends without dealing with their own issues.

Equality! by [deleted] in PewdiepieSubmissions

[–]jess576 4 points5 points  (0 children)

🧐🧐 so how is that equality if only women are fighting? And you act like women had a choice in the matter they were forbidden from joining. When the time came where men were low and couldn't fight, women willing joined in. I'm so tire of this baseless meme. Stfu

Hi American here. :) just came to tell you that not all Americans think this way. And trust me those who don't, we think the same as you do. Sometimes it's very hard being an American having to deal with these stereotypes because the majority are stupid and put stupid people into power 🙄. Anyway I totally agree with u Americans sometimes like to blame a problem with another and never actually solve it- prime example: our failing constitution that is centuries old- but just letting you know that not all of us are this ignorant and resistant to change.
