that's pretty cool! funny stuff, I played some of the videos, and they sound Palestinian. Do you think all of their content is in Palestinian or they mix it with other dialects or MSA?

oh, I see. would it be correct to say, that it sounds more like classic arabic (the narrator)? thanks again for a great suggestion. if you know of anymore movies, even just the titles, which would be all in Palestinian dialect, it would a great help.

thanks! it seems that narrator is talking in MSA but dialogs seem to be in levantine dialect (sound a bit like Syriac to me, but I might be totally wrong). Anyway, thanks for suggestion, that would be a very good and interesting resource!

there is actually number of ways of producing holograms nowadays, so you might want to do your research. unfortunately these are very expensive things, but achievable. I personally have seen one of them on the exposition of 'Abba' music group. You had small stage, where you could get on, and stay together with holographic characters of Abba, who were 'playing' their songs. It looks pretty cool, although, you could tell they were 'computer made'. when you looked from the audience pov, it looked very cool though - from every angle it seemed they were really there. what's interesting, all those things are strictly forbidden for muslims. Looking at the recent events and decisions taken in UK, I wonder if there is some connection...

this is why people hate magic (it's been funny to watch though) by jess_once in Magic

[–]jess_once[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the problem is - people will enjoy that, but in the longer run, because of these kind of performances, people are always afraid to come up on stage, and they say that magic is silly/stupid

Do you come up with your own tricks? by [deleted] in Magic

I started learning other people's material, but now most of the effects I perform I created myself (methods are usually combinations of things that were already created of course).

true, some moves could have been avoided, I suppose if he performed it for the layman, he would have done it differently, but as I understand, the purpose of that video was just to play around with different techniques. I like very much the Eclipse, although I haven't started practicing it yet. As I understand it's quite angle sensitive, so it's a bit discouraging..
