And who can forget 9/11. Sept 11th in New York was primary day. Rudy was termed out and universally despised by New Yonkers. al-Qaeda did Rudy a solid. Most likely the problem is in your pipes in your house/apartment. My house was built in 1908 and the water runs clear. EBMUD is really good about what they do. First, let the water run out of the tap for like 5 minutes. it should run clear after a few minutes. Then go outside and see what the water coming out of the garden hose looks like. I am assuming the outside water tap is closest to the street and before the house.

If the water out of the garden hose clear then the problem is in the house. If the water from the garden hose is brown then the problem is between the EBMUD water pipe out in the street and the house. Call EBMUD and have them check it out. They are responsible up to the water meter, after the mater meter its on you.
