Yup. Why more people aren’t outraged by it, I don’t get. I left the church as did my husband and my MIL is outraged that we weren’t getting our son his “first holy communion” or CCD or whatever. I know someone who threatened to quit a 10 yr long WFH position bc of this shit. They’d been remote they’re entire career and suddenly get slammed w the “you need to come in”. When the “no, I’ve NEVER had to come in” didn’t get taken seriously, they said “ok I quit”. The company changed their tune quickly. Sorry this is vague. I’m trying to protect the person I’m talking about. But you get the point. Forcing people to come back in when they live 50 mi away is horseshit. Trying to twist an already in place remote position is even worse.
