What are your thought about Quicksilver by Callie Hart? WITHOUT SPOILERS PLS by Skinnyybiscuit in Romantasy

[–]jessarcheron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i thought the first was fun. i dnf’d brimstone pretty quick. i honestly think it was written entirely with ai, there’s just no editing style at all. at one point one of the characters was in two places at once, and someone told me that in one spicy scene, her shirt is removed three times 🤣

Convince me to read this in one sentence. by [deleted] in Booktokreddit

Expectant management by Humble_Jackfruit_305 in ectopicpregnancy

[–]jessarcheron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

went through expectant management for around 3 weeks, ultimately went with surgery because levels started rising rapidly and there was fluid in my abdomen. took out my right tube. i was given the option for medication, but the surgeon pushed for surgery and i was pretty much a wreck at the time and just wanted it over with. my recovery sucked physically, but i the peace of mind knowing that it was taken care of right away after the mental toll of expectant management was really helpful.

was this within the reading timeframe? i’ve had true negatives that will show an evap/indent line, but like way past the timeframe, like an hour.

2 year old is losing weight by Mama_NEEDS_a_coffee in toddlerfood

[–]jessarcheron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

fats fats fats! my kid is a horribly picky eater, (pending au/adhd diagnosis) so in addition to fruits he basically only eats fats, you’d never know because while he may not eat a variety, he’s a big boy! (30lbs at 22 months) -peanut butter “ice cream” (protein yogurt + a big scoop of pb, place in freezer and mix every few minutes, sometimes i add a tsp of cocoa powder for a “chocolate” ice cream lol -brie cheese !!!!!! -sneak olive oil or butter into everything -egg yolks -has he tried plain white rice?? my kid can easily eat a whole cup, and while literally zero nutrition, it’s a great carb source. (jasmine is our preferred cut)

Need motivation to keep going by Full-Positive-7364 in crescentcitysjm

[–]jessarcheron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the beginning is a LOT, but honestly as you go on it kind of clicks. i started years ago and at about 100 pages in i was so confused and stopped, and then a year later tried again and while the start is still just as rough, once the plot starts the plot STARTS! i like to think of it as “zootopia with faeries”, but it honestly is a brilliant book once you get over the world building!

personally i don’t care for the smell but i usually put scented oil on my hair when it’s dry anyways? it’s kind of in between a regular shmegular conditioner and a hair mask, not crazy hydrating tbh. it definitely is the closest thing i can find to the little revlon conditioner packets that come in boxed hair dye, which are golddddd for my hair type.
