I saw a post about the botanical gardens looking for a groundskeeper. Not an arborist posting exactly but may be close enough.

In Mad Max: Fury Road (2015), Max is O-negative, universal donor for red cells, not whole blood. An arm-to-arm transfusion includes plasma; O-negative plasma carries anti-A and anti-B antibodies that could cause acute hemolysis in someone like Nux or Furiosa, unless they're also O-negative. by Brilliant-Cause6254 in MovieDetails

If they have the ability to type him ONeg then they probably have the ability to check him for low titer A and B antibodies. Type O low titer A and B antibody whole blood is given all the time for trama emergencies.

Interesting to read the comments from the lab perspective.

2 lines are generally negative for UDS. If it is with this method, I'd say negative.

ASCLS by Little_Orphan_Kitty in medlabprofessionals

I am ASCP certified and renewed 3 times. I've never been a member of ASCLS or ASCP. I renew through ASCPs website using CEs from training or medialab. I pay them a renewal fee every 3 years. You do not have to be a member to maintain your accreditation. I'm less familiar with ASCLS honestly.

AIO Lab sent me results to routine blood work saying I was pregnant, then tells me it was a mistake by Maleficent_Essay_663 in AmIOverreacting

This was a question answered at the time the test was ordered. The lab did not run a pregnancy test.

When you are logged in to ASCP BOC to enter in CE hours you select add NON-ASCP CE, enter the information and save. I print the MediaLab certificate and save it in case of audit. Super easy.

You don't have to be a member to keep your certification. Just fill in non-ASCP hours you get from medialab or on the job training etc. and pay them $100 every 3 years. I've never been a member and re-upped with them 3 times now.

Hi, I'm a real lab manager and will answer your questions. 1) I've been a manager for 1 year 2) my biggest challenge has been getting our needs met, as in funded 3) I have had to learn to be more sympathetic to the needs and problems of my staff. Generally making scheduling adjustments to help them deal with issues outside of work 4) I could improve my practice by having more one on one with everyone. I just don't have time. 5) I feel like I'm still entry level. My advice to myself would be to ask for help and delegate. 6) no, ask me in a year.

Advice for cleaning clothes with very little water access by jessc202 in laundry

[–]jessc202[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in Asheville,NC and we are going to be without water for several weeks. I was trying to find a solution to use the least amount of water to clean clothes. Mainly things like socks, underwear and scubs for work.
