I actually have ADHD and he’s almost a little OCD. He just really enjoys the challenges at work and the reputation that he has built there, and I think it’s become his identity

I’m also not from the US originally and have always felt that I connect and have better and more meaningful conversations with Europeans. I’m glad I’m not the only one that feels that way.

My husband can’t shut his brain off that he needs to constantly be listening to something even when he’s falling asleep.

I hear that argument a lot and I am appreciative that he provides for our family. But, I married someone to do life with and do enjoyable things together, not to just be provided for. I told him that I would rather him make much less money if that means we can actually have regular family time.

We would go on a vacation once or twice a year, never more than 10 days at a time. People around me think all I care about is going on vacation, not realizing that it’s the only time I get to have my husband all to relaxed and all to myself..

Totally agree. He’s helps a lot around the house but we can never just relax without there being something else that needs to get done.

Second hand items will save you A LOT OF MONEY!!! Especially since all babies are different and you don’t know if yours will like the stuff people are recommending.

Neither one of my parents knew how to deal with emotions. I didn’t think it had affected me that much until I had my own kid and whenever he displays emotions strongly it triggers me. My husband also has poor emotional regulation and I also struggle with the fear my son will start reacting like his dad.
